  1. you post too quick you know tim jurkovac (sp?). i think hes at the westerville location
  2. yep...ive worked with a couple people who worked there, and i heard it is VERY strict. probably why they are such a large company although, i will say, my best friend from HS's fiance works there, i believe he does card retention (sp? when someone wants to cancel a card, he gets them to keep it), and he was telling me he claimed something like 42k in his first 8 months for the 2006 year.
  3. well, being that i just went thru this last month, i will say the prices you are being quoted are no where near what people are saying. maybe they got em done for that price years ago, but not now. i actually called probably 12 places, most of them menioned above. the place on billingsley wanted to update all their shots, give them this and that, do bloodwork, before the declaw ever happened. this place would have been 550-600$ for 2 cats, declaw only (no exaggeration) the place on hamilton anthony is talking about will only do cats up to 2 years, and its 140$...i almost went here but 1 cat is 1 year old and the other is about 4. every other place was about 120-160, and anywhere you go, they have to be updated on vaccines and rabies i ended up taking my cats to the vet behind olive garden and the aquarium cafe, got them both rabies/vaccines shots for 104$. that was the cheapest i could find for the declaw, i went to OSU. it was 264 for both, with pain medication patches, and they hold onto em for 2 days. i took them in on a monday, and picked them up wed night. OSU was really good to them, and was good in explaining everything to me about how to care for them afterwards btw, i got them both declawed because they tore up my old furniture and we just dropped 1100$ on a new couch
  4. im sure it was probably designed that way so the car will take the brute of the impact instead of shoving the steering wheel into your chest. does it make it easier to total the car? absolutely does it make it easier to save your life? bet your ass it does
  5. never heard of the 2nd part when i totalled my dads car a few years back, i got a ticket for failure to control or something...he put "dry" for the road condition, yet there were rain drops on the ticket. i went to court to fight it, he never showed, they said it was dismissed. it was never put on my record

    Credit Cards

I know when i finally decided to open a CC, i went to 5/3 (where ive banked since i was like 8), they gave me a CC that had no intrest for a year, plus cash rewards. i think every dollar i spend i get 1% back, and once it reaches 50$, they will send you a check, or you can keep building it up. what he told me is they only send out 50$ checks, so if you have 80$, youll get a 50$ check and once you get another 20$ onto it, you can get another check
  7. from what i heard after i got busted there in december-ish, it always is i was able to strike a deal with the prosecutor and due to my good record over the last few years, he dropped it to equipment violation and the fine was 5-10$ more than my ticket, and i got 0 points
  8. no shit. what makes you think that? the fact that a train did a complete roller coaster loop or did the kids using a plasma cutter and welder out by a train track throw you off?
  9. shoot me a PM. how long is this position open (like, do you need it done for a few days or continuing for a couple months?) is it all over columbus or on a certain side of town? last but not least, is putting the signs up legal, or is there a permit involved? i dont have an issue doing this, as im actually looking to make a few extra bucks a few nights a week, but i dont want to get in any sort of shit for doing it i am interested though
  10. holy mother of a day after repost batman!
  11. you know, i dont have health insurance, and have avoided the hospital a couple times when i shouldnt have (cutting my thumb with a knife this weekend was one of those times), but thats something i would just have to go and foot the bill to get that shit fixed thats NASTY
  12. ah, you are the man! btw, i did search online, but used MSN, as its the default homepage at work. thanks again!

    helicopters

i usually use them to make sure my speedo is accurate everytime i realize im coming up on one, and try to start at the next one, there always seems to be not enough to check for a full mile
  15. well then its his own dumb ass fault. i mean, its not like its YOUR car, so i dont know why your bitching about it. obviously it was the best offer he could get at the time, and he was happy enough with the offer to go through with it. leave it at that
  16. hm thats where i looked last time...ill check it out again. maybe i just looked past it
  17. btw, where'd you see the gatorade mix?
  18. hm im out to find this stuff i dont even care if it comes in a bag to make 10 gallons...i love powerade...itll also help keep me off pop, which im close to stopping completely. down to about 1-2 sodas a week
  19. and it states they have 12k in receipts for mods now while you dont make much money off mods, someone who wants a car that will perform well will take that into consideration, that THEY wont have to put 12k into it to get to where that one is
  20. i would swear on my life ive seen this stuff at meijer, as its usually the only place i shop, but now, i cant find it in there does it exist? something like one of those "add to bottle of water and shake" type deals? anyone had it, and know if it tastes the same? if you know where i can get some of this (the blue kind, specifically), let me know! PS...i searched online a bit for it, and see a few things, but i cant figure out where to get it from
  21. while i dont agree with the price, remember, no dealership is out there to not make money. you also gotta figure people are going to haggle on the price, which is going to drop it a bit too. if the dealership doesnt make money, it wouldnt be in business ive paid asking price for 1 car from a dealership, and that was because they had it priced 5$ (literally) over KBB value AND they threw in a 700$+ maintenance package at no cost

    Theif!

im sorry to say this, but your an idiot for telling him where it was before you got any $ from him
  23. IDK where youve looked, but ive heard lifetime/golds, etc are expensive as fuck. i have a membership at the YMCA and its <27$/month. i think the 1st month is 25$ more for the application fee. plus they got a pool, basketball courts, etc
  24. ha i tried getting into running a few weeks ago, but found out running on the street/sidewalk killed my knees and i couldnt go very far. switched to the gym which was much better, but then started the elliptical. seems to be working a bit better
