So, you're saying that you wouldn't get a 2nd opinon if you took your car in for repair and after much $$$ in parts and labor your car's problem is still there? Maybe you wouldn't... Maybe you have so much money that you will just keep throwing it at people not caring on how the money is spent. But most people can't afford that. I think if this is any other shop, with the same story, it will sound just as bad. At least to me.

He has the revised lifters but I'm not sure if he has had them installed or not. It does not sound like a lifter tick though. Either way. If it's a lifter tick then the shop should know this and let him know instead of doing all that work and it's still not fixed. Then turns around and tells him all these accessories all needs to be replace at the same time. Strange...

Something sounds fishy there. I seriously would not pay for the parts and labor of rebuilding the bottom end if that did not resolve your problem. You should not pay for something that you did not need in the first place. I'm saying don't need because it did not resolve problem. Makes me wonder where your money went and if they're acually doing the work. PS/Alt/Starter was in good condition so I would think twice about paying for something that you probably won't need *AGAIN*. He has a 1g car with 1g motor in. Sorry about recommending the place. They just started and I found out how they do business after some time.

Autozone, advance auto or napa might have them for cheaper. You should call and check.

Search for a hosts file and edit it with note pad then delete the domain name entries. If that doesn't work then you might not have a DNS server entry setup correctly on that computer. It should have automatically pulled that information though. Unless your network is manually configured. That is if you have a network. If that doesn't help then more info from you would be nice.

I have to say that yours was much better looking too. But if the price is right then why not. You can always change the look later.

If you want to street race then do. Just call someone out. If that person doesn't want to then too bad. However, you may get some races. What happened? You will have to ask the indivisuals yourself. Everyone has their reason why they do or don't. I would suggest that you put up a post to have people who wants to street race to PM you. Then you can "organize" it so that when you guys are out that there are street racing going on. I see plenty of people talking about it so there should be many races going on once you set this up. I suggested PM so law enforcement can stay out of it. It would also limit the liability of CR if something goes bad. As Nike once said... Just do it.

Make sure you look around the area that you've been while doing the oil change. You might have knocked an electrical connection loose.

Wiggle it and jiggle it untill it turns. After a long time the key or the assembly gets worn. You just have to find the right angle for the key to work. You might try the extra set of keys. That might work too. If not, then the assembly has gone bad. You'll need to have that replaced.

I might not make it after all. I have to go to Atlanta sometime that weekend.
