  1. Once again, potential buyer fell through. Car is now available.
  2. Ok, but I'm not sure what you are comparing. It's not about the rotary, it's more about the car, and the parts that come with it for this price.
  3. Thanks! Yes, it's in very good shape! Everyone that sees it thinks it's much much newer than a 1989. It's been registered in Ohio since 1991, but I don't know what dealer it was shipped to in '89. I'm assuming it's an Ohio only car. Yeah, it's "cute".

  5. Thanks, I'd appreciate that. If he's interested, just have him shoot me a PM.
  6. Yes, would have went up for sale even if it didn't crack the plate. I would rather keep it, but as stated, priorities have changed for me and I no longer have the time/money/desire to move forward with it. So in short, Yes - need to sell. It is a simple fix, but because of the need to sell, I wanted to offer the car a greatly reduced priced. I hope someone realizes the value of the car and the deal that I'm offering at this time. If I did replace the plate to get it running again, the price will increase significantly.
  7. That's a deal... Thanks! It definitely is...and I hope someone enjoys it as much as I did. Me too...but my priorities have changed for now.
  8. Thanks! I would definitely love for it to stay within the area.

  15. It's truly a sad time for me because I'm officially putting this car up for sale. Life comes first, so I'm trying to do the right thing. 1989 Blaze Red TurboII VIN# - JM1FC3320K0705996 I bought this car with just under 109K on the clock, and it now has just over 111K. I have owned it since 2003, and I bought it completely stock with a blown rear apex seal. Since then, I have spent countless time and effort making this into a car like no other. I don't even want to add up the receipts that I have for everything that I've done to it. I would honestly cry. I don't have the time or energy to part this car out, so I'm going to sell it as a whole. It's a clean title, and I would have to check, but I believe I'm the third owner. I bought it from an older female that babied the car. It is one of the straightest, and most clean S5's that I've seen, which is another rare trait. I would say overall body is a 8.5/10 and the interior is an almost perfect 9.5/10. As some of you know, I cracked a front plate on the dyno a few weeks back. The car still sits in that current state with the front plate cracked. All that is need for this car to fire up and drive is a front plate, and an OEM o-ring kit, which is about $200 from mazdatrix. Chris Ludwig of Ludwig Motorsports has it currently tuned for driving and a decent tune up to 11psi (gate springs). We were getting ready to start fine tuning in boost when the plate cracked. If someone buys this car within the next 2 weeks, I'll throw in a front plate with it. I will list the mod sheet below along with some pictures. All mods have right around 2K miles or LESS on them. I don't have the greatest pictures, but they are good enough to give you an idea. Price, as is, right now is $10,500. I'm basically selling everything for less than what I have in parts ALONE in the car. So you are getting a rare S5 TII in excellent condition for free. With that being said, If this car does not sell soon, after I get settled into my new place over the next couple of weeks, I will take it off the market and perform the rebuild and get it back to where it needs to be. The price will then go up significantly, so if you want the deal of a lifetime, act fast. Trust me on this one, my loss is your total gain right now. I'm not moving on the price. I'm located in Lebanon, OH 45036. I'm not looking for trades, only cash. It weighed in at 2,800lbs even. That time was ran on 12psi of boost. I never ran it under high boost conditions, but you can use your imagination... This car is capable of 500+whp. Here is a clip of a 18psi (110 leaded only) pull on the dyno (watch the speedo):
  16. Joe- Put my name on the FD wheels. Next time I come up north, I'll pick them up from ya. Car is good man...I'll PM you a link to some pics and vids.
  17. Joe, what's up bro. It's Luke... Say it ain't so, man! I just got mine going, and now you're selling yours! Are the FD wheels in good shape? Might pick those up for the track.
  18. Here are a few short clips for you guys... Had my car dynoed a few months back, down here in cincy. Hopefully this spring I'll get to bring it up north a few times, when I'm driving through Cbus to our lake. Definitely a conservative tune as this was the first tune on the new motor. In the end, I'll get the boost up around 25psi. All pulls were done in 4th gear. Please RIGHT CLICK, SAVE AS... Redline is set around 8300. Had some intermittant ignition in the high rpms a few times, so we were being safe. Enjoy!
  19. I have some on my computer at home, but the ones that were linkable on the web, are no longer up. I'll see what I can do...
  20. Thanks guys. Spent a LONG time planning and piecing this project together, but it's all worth it in the end. Wanted to do the motor first, which is almost complete. Then it will be on to suspension, wheels, exterior...etc.
  21. Currently doing some more work on the car...but hopefully I can bring it out to play soon. Here are a few pics... http://bdc.cyberosity.com/d/5019-2/IMG_3381.jpg http://bdc.cyberosity.com/d/5055-2/IMG_3393.jpg http://bdc.cyberosity.com/d/6755-2/IMG_4408.jpg http://bdc.cyberosity.com/d/6780-2/IMG_4416.jpg http://bdc.cyberosity.com/d/6822-2/IMG_4434.jpg
  22. Hey guys, just wanted to say what's up. Just recently got my RX7 project on the road. It's an 1989 Turbo II with lots of mods... I have some pics if you guys are interested. I currently live just north of Cincy, but my family has some lakehouses up north of Columbus. So maybe I'll see some of you when I roll through Cbus. Later...
