  3. does any one have a torque wrench that they would be willing to let me borrow for a day say next monday or tuesday. i ordered a header (to get ride of my stock flex pipe leak) and i dont have a torque wrench to properly tighten the bolts. thanks, -brandon
  4. thats where i got my one and olny ticket, 55 in a 35, that road is a blast to fly through if your car can handle and you can drive tongue.gif
  5. just take some sand paper and scuff up the pad then it wont be glazed, and i saw you rotors, GET NEW ONES THEY ARE FUCKED, i saw some deep grooves in the fornt, they are beyond getting turned, but if you get new rotors then you need new pads to. brakes are the olny thing i know btw.
  6. way to suck at the internet, have a great day
  7. rebuilding it wont make it faster, mabye run better, but the turbo is two small and cant run anough boost to produce very much power, so look in to upgrading the turbo you have got into something larger tongue.gif
  8. i think we decieded to use the shocks i got, but then my thicker aftermarket sway bars that will mont up to the new shocks.
  9. i am about to put new shocks and springs on and i am i bought red koni adjustables and eibach prokit, and heres the proublem. on the rear shocks there is a mount that is welded to the shock that the sway bar is attached to, and on the konis i bought i looked for this mount and it isnt there. so i dont want to eliminate the sway bar, is there a way of not eliminating with out buying new shocks, and the shocks and springs were both bought through nissan. thanks brandon
  10. hey ricky quick question, just wondering what makes the hks super sequential your number one verus the greddy type s, and what do you use? i am just curious, i am getting a turboset up and am in the process of buying all the parts right now, and a bov was coming up tongue.gif
  11. ok it started yestreday but it didnt sound really good, it rus fine, just the start up is ruff, so i dont know if its timing now or if it infact is the starter.
  12. well, if any one thinks they can fix it, i will pay them, i am desperate
  13. dave i think your righ thte belt might have sliped throwing off the timeing, other wise it could be bad gas, i believe the last place i got gas was the shell on polaris. and as for the rotor it had a little carbon on it but nothing bad, normal, and the plugs, looked pretty normal. what can you had to your gas to remove water? and i think i might have to get a tech out to the house or the car to the shop, if its timing. and chris the cai had gone thorugh some down pours and i drove it sunday from work at 4, then tryed to start it on monday at 6, and it worked fine the day before, and i dont think it was raining, but i thought about hydro lock.
  14. okay i pulled the plugs and none were wet, bt they smelled like gas on the end so i flooded it sometime along the line, then i also kno how to overcome that, arent you saposed to hold the gas to the floor? any ways i am leaning towards timing now i think
  15. okay the cap, rotor, fuel filter, plugs, and wires, all have under 10k on them, and when i took the distributor cap off, the rotor spun, so the timing chain i dont think would have slipped off, but what other belt should i look for then? and as for the bad gas thing that is possiable, it will crank and it trys to start then almost gets there and then fails, and how do i check the neutral safty switch? and i will pull the plugs and see if any are covered in gas. and as far as the cam angle sensor thing where the heck is that? thanks for the help guys -brandon
  16. the sr20det is coming in july but i need to make this sr20 go until i can get the new one, unless some one wants to spot me 700 dollars?
  17. ok my 93 nissan sentra se-r will not start. It turns over but wont start. so i tried to jump it nope didnt help, took the main plug that connects to the ignition coil off and grounded it then turned it over and it sparked the crap out of me, so its not ignition coil. then i disconnected the fuel line, and turned it on and it sprayed every where. so i took out the fuel relay smelled it, for burnt electricals, and it smelled fine. So now it is just sitting in the garage. i am really not sure what to try next, the car turns over it just cant start, like trying to get up a hill and stopping right before the top. any advice guys or does this need to go to a shop, and could it be flooded(which i doubt but hey) thanks -brandon
