    Why not? Because the GN isn't in the newest area of the strip? There was a $170 Million renovation in 2007 at the GN. Honestly, I'd rather spend $35 a night and stay at the Lady Luck, then overpay to be on the strip. You're only in your room to sleep anyways, so it doesn't matter to me too much. Have a good trip though.

    My $535 figure was for both of us, not each. The days of the week don't really matter to me too much. My g/f has never been there and we're going with a group of 10+, so that wasn't much of a factor when choosing our schedule.

    Wow, that is some crazy airfare. Pays to book in advance. We're going March 1st and for both of us, it was $325 (non-stop flights) and $210 for the stay at the Golden Nugget for 3 nights = $535. Take a helicopter ride to Hoover. They have some "decent" deals online, but it's still going to be over $150 per person.
