  1. What is it they say about those who brag about it?
  2. I'm sure there are a couple of guys on here that could help you out, but here are two well-known companies and a link to quite a few others. Scotts Lawn Services 791 Science Blvd, Gahanna, OH (614) 863-3920 Davey Tree & Lawn Care 3603 Westerville Rd, Columbus, OH (614) 471-4144 http://maps.google.com/maps?q=tree+service&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=N&tab=wl
  3. Great advice, just ignore her and if she comes back running, then you can proceed with the wedding and the rest of your lives (because then you'll know the answer). Very healthy way to start their lives together. Sounds like real communication there. Steven, people are going to suggest lots of different ways for you to cope with this situation, what you have to do is work this out for yourself and manage everything that's going on with the support of your family and friends. They are the ones that know you both individually and as a couple. Rely on them to help you figure out what's best for your situation.

  5. If she told you this a month ago, what's been going on in those 30 days? Are things getting better, worse? If she mentioned that her heart isn't in it any more, where is it now a month later? Just because she says she wants to be married doesn't mean she's ready to be married. She may just like the idea of being married (same for you). This is the point where you step back and look at your relationship and try to figure out what's best for YOU in the long term. Walking down the isle with someone that has lukewarm feelings isn't the best way to start out a marriage (trust me, I've done it). Nothing worse than having the feeling of regret while you're still putting on your tuxedo. I think everyone here is trying to give you advice from their experiences, so you should definitely read and re-read some of the posts that have been made. Talk to her, don't make assumptions that just because you've been together for 3 years and you both want to get married (or you both like the idea of being married), that it's the best thing for your relationship. Someone mentioned postponing the wedding earlier. Do it, take all the time you both need to re-evaluate who you are together and if you both are on the same page. Don't do it just because you've mailed out invitations and some people have made hotel reservations. All of those people would rather make new arrangements rather than hear about a break up 2 months after you get married. Just some stuff to think about.
  6. At 5:30 this morning, I was still asleep. The house could have fallen over and I would have slept through it.
  7. Not yet. We've run into a slight issue with installing a new wider tub. There is a stud located directly in the center (width-wise), so we have to redo all the plumbing to center it to the new wider tub. But here's a few pics of a bit of the progress in the last two days. The new plumbing is going in today and hopefully we can start on the paint and tile work tomorrow. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5173.jpg Niches done and ready for tile http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5176.jpg Drywall replacement going in http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5177.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5178.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5179.jpg The niches double perfectly for beer stands http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5180.jpg
  8. Yup. The pre-fab ones are too pricey as well as the configuration I'm doing, there are none available, so I am making my own.

  12. In case you're wondering what the white paint is on the studs and sub-floor, I rolled on some Kilz to keep the mold from returning and as a moisture barrier where the mold was the most prominent.
  13. Yeah, the plastic & and insulation were kinda nasty, so I figured I'd rather just buy new stuff and start all over. After Day 2, finally making some progress. We went with an extra-deep tub from Kohler that is 20" deep vs the standard 14" deep. New Insulation http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5155.jpg Tub is in!!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5159.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5160.jpg

  16. Started my bathroom remodel this weekend and nearing the reconstruction phase on Day 2 (not too bad). But here's a few pictures of what's been done so far. The end result will be a 20" deep tub with new 13"x13" ceramic tile on the floor and shower. Also installing a new vanity along with everything else. The main reason for this remodel was that the shower was starting to mold between the surround and the tub. After re-culking the shower about 6 times, it was time to investigate why it was molding after only a few months. You'll see in the pictures why that was the case. The beginning with only the medicine cabinet removed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5118.jpg Before http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5119.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5120.jpg Bye bye car border http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5126.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/TimTaylor75/Bathroom%20Remodel/DSCN5127.jpg

  18. I've got one of these just sitting in my garage as well. (From '94 V-6 car), but if anyone wants/needs it, it's all yours. Can't remember the name of the performance tranny shop out near Johnstown. Maybe someone else can remember the name. But my buddy had his Olds TH350 rebuilt there, and from what I remember, they have a good reputation.
