  1. Footage has emerged of the moment a bus was struck by a truck on a highway in Lishui City in China's southern Zhejiang Province.

At least one person was killed and 23 injured in the crash last Friday.

The footage, aired by state broadcaster CCTV, was captured on the bus' security cameras and shows the driver reversing down the highway after missing his exit.

A truck slams into the back of the bus, causing it to flip and flinging the bus driver from the vehicle.

Reports say the truck driver was killed and others were injured.

  2. Was born in Charleston and have been back a few times to visit. Park your car and just walk around the French Quarter and check out the City Market also. If you're interested in doing a plantation tour, be sure to go early as they typically have the last tours of the day before 5pm.

Congrats! Great city to visit for a honeymoon.

Nice...have sex with a 14 year old, get it knocked down to a lesser charge, violate probation by assaulting a guy at 1am outside a bar, get that charged reduced, find a LSU Alum Judge to expedite the case so he can be back for full practice and don't hand down any significant additional punishment...then the head coach hides behind the excuse "Well the team voted to bring him back..so I had no choice"

Typical in the land where football is king and the law/rules are just speed bumps.

  4. I picked up a D3000 from a buddy who upgraded to the D3200 for it's video capabilities. He misplaced the booklet, but is still trying to find it for me, but I did received an extra battery & remote. This is my first DSLR so any tips on what to do to start out would be greatly appreciated. I've used this and my brother-in-law's D3100 a few times, but not enough to get very familiar with them, so I'm pretty excited to get going with it.

    Thanks in advance!

  5. I was having a discussion with someone regarding tipping on carryout orders earlier. Does a server working in a sit-down restaurant that is assigned to work the carryout area typically make a different wage than a server assigned to the dine-in section? I rarely add a tip on a carryout order because more often than not, its a person in a management role that is putting my order together. Discuss.
