After I got all the details, turns out that he did actually put in for the day off, but apparently an Army Reservist that he works with needed the day off as well and gets president. I reacted before I had all the info (based on what he told me at the time).

As much as people go back and forth on here, Columbus Racing really is a great community and often times, I think we lose sight of that. With my sudden crisis of a lack of photographer (which is now remedied) for my wedding Friday, a number of CR members went out of their way to get in touch with me, adjusting pricing, began steps of getting the day off their other jobs and I really can't say THANK YOU enough. With only four days left and having everything taken care of for this fairly large event, finding that we had to begin the search for a photographer again really generated a good amount of stress over the last couple of days. But having the availability of some really giving & generous people on here really makes me proud to be a member of this group..regardless of how many meets I attend or people that I know really well, I'm glad to be here. We should all take pride in being part of such a solid community that I'd like to think, does actually care for each other (to some degree). In short...Thanks.

Thought I would see if anyone would be interested in shooting my wedding this Friday since my friend / photographer backed out after him not requesting the day off from work. So frustrated right now after we worked everything out with him 4 months ago, so now it's a crazy mad dash trying to find someone for Friday. A great friend of mine was the woman who passed away today in the I-270 accident. I was roommates with her son for four years and have known the family through church for over 20 years. I'm still in shock over the news and am typing this with a very heavy heart. What is also very sad is that today is her youngest daughter's birthday, so this is going to be really tough on the family for quite a while as you could expect. I would just ask that you keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult period.

Finally making some progress on my bike after a VERY lengthy break from working on it, and I'm starting to look for some parts. If anyone has any CBR parts, let me know. Mainly looking for front end (forks & brake parts), rear sets, and swing arm. Let me know what you have.

Worst I got was from my Grandmother when I kept putting off doing my chores, then lied to her saying I had when I didn't. I got to go pick out a switch (ie branch) that was used to put the fear of God into me. I didn't put off or lie about doing my chores anymore. I still love my Grandmother.
