Hello all. I am having a serious problem with my cars tranny sticking in first gear. Ive tried everything! I even put another tranny in last night that I know is good and still having the same problem. Throttle cable and shift linkage is perfect. proper fluid and amount, checked the governer, and other things. I believe its my LOKAR detent/kickdown cable is the problem and can't adjust it properly. Can anyone help me out tonight? Ive been borrowing cars for the last few months and need to give my neighbors car back tomorrow morning. I need to get this finished tonight. Can someone help me PLEASE!!! I will even pay you if you want. I just need this running so I can give the car back and get to work. I will be there all night and morning trying to figure it out. I don't care if someone calls or stops by at 3am! I'll b there. cell Jimmy 614 795-8541 JAS Automotive 8996 Mink ST SW Reynoldsburg, Ohio. 43068

AHHHH! 89 Notchback 2.3 to 5.0 Carb swap Ive been building this car for a few months now and this is the last thing I need to do to it. My tranny wont shift out of first gear. I bought and installed the Lokar detent/kickdown cable today and set it. Noticed my speedo is not working. What about the VSS? Could that be the issue? Will I have to rewire it since my ECU is gone? I need this car running by tonight so I can get to work tomorrow. I'll be at my shop all night. if anyone can stop by and help out that would be fantastic!....cough....cough... Rob here is my # 614 795-8541 if you want to help or got any ideas Thanks

I'm having problems finding the wires up front in the engine bay to power and ground the fuel pump. I thought they were in an 8 pin BLACK connector 1.red wire 2.Tan wire. Any sugestions?

For you wiring gurus out there. I'm trying to wire up the harness to accept the ALT, and starter. On the starter solenoid mounte on the fender I have power wire from the Battery,ALT,starter, yellow power wire and a lil silver box??? On the opposite post Im runing the starter signal wire. On the top "S" terminal of the fender mount starter solenoid im runing the Ign wire. My problem is Im not getting any power to the other post side (starter signal) when turning key in the "start position" Is this even right? or is there a better easier way? Can anyone help me out. or can come out to my shop to help me. (Reynoldsburg) Can call my cell Jimmy 614 795-8541.

i thought there might me some mixed thoughts:) Well I figured I'd put it in, I never had one installed before. If I don't like it ,I can take it out and get a double roller instead. I just wish i knew if i only need the gears or if I need other hardware like i see some other kits use.
