  2. No its easy... since theres only like 4 of us that could get back there... the only people that show up are the only people we invite. I can think about about a dozen who could initialy get an invite.
  3. I got em. I used some Raid Flying Insect killer... that seemed to kill 1, and make the others go away. Then i went back out and soaked the nests with Spot Shot, probably the best carpet cleaner ever invented. Then took a piec of PVC and knocked them down... and practiced my Pitching Wedge on the remains for about 3 min

  5. Who has some really good shit, or knows where i can get some really good shit to kill wasps, INSTANTLY! Theres a nest about the size of a computer cooling fan under the deck abouve my porch. It has about 5-8 wasps chilling on it and theres 4 or 5 eggs developing in it. I need to get rid of this issue before it gets any bigger!
  6. well i agree there... it could fuck the bushings up and send them into the pan... but its bronze... rather soft and more than likely not very abrasive at high temps. Im sure the specific heat is lower than that of steel and it would probably pass right through.

  9. Dig Race Rules 1. If you are not racing, working the line, or spoting, you dont need to be there. This spot is not for a social gathering for anyone and 190 of thier closest friends. 2. If you show up WITHOUT being invited, or without someone who WAS invited, go the fuck away. If you make the choice to bring someone with you who was not invited, WE need to know who they are. And they are NOT allowed to be there by themselves untill we deem them OK. 3. For safty, there should be only 4 people on the road at a time: two guys racing, the line worker, and a spoter at the end. Dont crowd the edge of the road because its just too dangerous. 4. Also for safty, you WILL SHUT DOWN @ 1000ft, which will be marked off with both a line, and cones. If you roll any further, you risk your own safty and everyone else around you. Dont do it.
  10. Brian was showing me and Hal a GREAT spot for dig runs last night... we have to keep it pretty quiet though. I guess the process will be Hal or Brian posting up "Dig Runs Tonight @ xx:xx. If you dont know where, PM one of us 3." And there is a couple rules.... It really is a great spot. I pussy footed up to about 100 and still had PLENTY of time to shut down.
  11. BEAUTIFUL PIC! The problem with that car is two things: 1. The rear breaks and weight arent enough to hold the car from rolling forward. 2. Once the car hits second gear, all the power goes to the passenger side UNLESS i turn the wheel to the right to get the driver side tire turning faster. So by them holding it back, i was able to get it up into gear and move the wheels around to keep them both spinning. Sorry to Sam for annilating his pants with rubber. Sorry to Hal for getting rubber on your sholders. Sorry to Brian for giving you road rash on your shins. And i just have to say... Hal made me do it... i rolled in and didnt even park and Hal told me to do a burn out. Damn kids
  12. Yea we did... and that was a tall order to fill at 1 oclock in the f'n morning. I used the most powerful degreaser availible to me and it did nothing. We tried simple green... nothing. We even taped the outdoor faucet, that had no valve wheel, with a socket wrench, used a hose to try to get it wet and scrub it with commercial deck brushes, which i also brought, and still nothing. Noone can say we didnt try. *REMOVED* Sorry bout your lot :burn:

  14. If you want to survive, you have to think that way. Rather than worrying about what can go wrong, worry about how to get out of ANYTHING that can go wrong. Dont misunderstand that for not taking responsibiltiy or accountablity, but how to use all the red tape to your advantage. The corperate world is a nasty place with shit hidding in corners that you cant even imagine. You are right... the rewards are greater... but so are the punishments.

When ever you want to fire someone, your argument cant be the things that they are doing wrong... your argument has to be that you gave them every possible oppertunity to be coached and resolve the issue on thier own. Basically youre saying "well i gave this guy every oppertunity to try and keep his job, but at this point, i have no choice but to let him go." So always remember, when you really want to fire someone, you do everything you can to help them keep thier job! If they really want to keep it, theyll turn around and be a good employee, if not, well the process works in and of itself. I dont know if I would go as far as genious but thanks for the compliment ;0
