    Saturday 7th

Whats the plan... I ACTULLY HAVE THE DAY OFF HOLY FUCK!
  3. this guy kicks ass http://www.break.com/index/flute_beat_boxing.html
  4. so you can go and get beat by another civic on the first pass? :eek2:
  5. i could build somehting faster than a radical... easy... if only i could get about $500K...
  6. that and it has an Arial Atom look to it... with the stainless bars along the sides... What also caught my attention was the 12in draft... thats a seriously shallow hull, and i bet it sits on its ass quite nicely on smooth water. Where it could screw you though is if you pull a tube or skier with a big boy on the end of the rope like i dunno... Linn or Hua... they may be able to jerk the ass end of the boat around if they are swung out far enough... could get you into a hairy spot if you just happen to get so unlucky to hit a roller in just the wrong way. If been able to jerk a few 24ft SeaRays around on a slalom ski... but im a bit bigger than Linn... im sure he sould do it if he tried though.
  7. how many RPM are you turning... 5000? If your using a pretty good size prop and turning low rpm you have much less chance of it happening... but if your running like a 14in knife edge prop at 8000... youll tear something up pretty quick doing that... unless the water is like glass... then trim it out baby
  8. Yea the damn dam broke and theyve been dropping the lake down like 20ft a year for the next 3 years then fix it over a year, then raise it back up over the last year. Well we used a RC Martin kit... i dunno if theyre still around, it was like 10yrs ago when we had that. I would assume you could spray a small shot into it but youd have to spray premix fuel.. and i dunno how that would work with a standard solinoid. I dont know how well an oil/fuel mix would go through a standard jet either... dunno if the surface tension of the oil would prevent a good mist of fuel.
  9. That would be really cool... get a big groupe of us boaters together and take a trip for a weekend to like Cumberland or Dale Hollow. If we go to Cumberland, we put in at State Dock, and go up Harmon creek to the best cove on that damn lake... and after going there for the last 17yrs, i know a good portion of it very well.
  10. Get a 100MPH life vest... its the mercedes of life jackets. I used to have one but sold it with the WR.
  11. Thats actully where i learned to ski... you know, 20yrs ago when it was SAFE to swim in
  12. Well my family have been hardcore boaters for decades, and ive been heavy into boats for about 20yrs... i learned to ski when i was 5 and started riding waverunners at 12. Im into my mid 20s now and im ready for a boat of my own to tool around on. Hopefully i can pick one up next year.
  13. Thats called propwalk... and its very easy to lose a prop that way, as well as blowing the motor. If the hull jumps up, and the prop leaves the water, the motor over revs as wells as stops getting water into the motor... but the bad part is the prop hitting the water at high RPM... youll drop it, and the drive in a heartbeat. Thats why race boats have throttle men and they are constantly on and off the throttle.
  14. I wonder what would happen if you built a common intake manifold and attached a big single to it... oh the ideas i already have
  15. Hopped up? Dude, a 300hp out board will take a shallow draft hull like that and make it do 90 easy. its all about trimming it on its ass.
  16. Just boost the crap out of it and inject water... not like you couldnt find any around... ENDLESS SUPPLY
  17. Did CR just turn to boats? TRIPLE POST!
  18. If i pick up a Speedster 200, well have to run em
  19. It was a Waveraider 701, with the 1100 motor, very steep impellar, widemouth intake grate, 9in nozzel extension, Riva exhaust, waterbox, big bore carbs, head, long boy ride plate, and 70 a shot. It would do about 87 off the bottle, and the fastest i ever had the nerve to wiat for on the spray was 109... with ~1in chop... im sure that if i had done it at about 5am when the water was like glass... and i had the balls... i dont think 115 wouldve been out of the question. To cut down the wind resistance, i would pull my feet up and lay on the seat with my legs strait back, tuck my elbows down and glance up over the bars every 3 or 4 seconds. At that speed, body armour is your friend. Lifejackets with kevlar plates will save your life.
  20. perfectly acceptable behavior as long as noone else is around. I think a lake like Cumberland is more suitable for toying around like that though.
  21. you should feel 109 on a waverunner I have to match that one. Just dont dump it over 85, i did at 84, and pretty much decided i shoulda died. http://www.fountainpowerboats.com/boats/sport/images/35ltg3_wp1024.jpg http://www.fountainpowerboats.com/boats/sport/35LTG_over.asp
  22. The only speed limit is a no wake zone, which is idel speed... around 4 or 5mph... other than that, as long as your more than 300ft from shore, you can get as far up on plane as you want.... Fountain sells PLEASURE boats that are garaunteed to hit 121mph right off the showroom floor, after the proper 20hr break in period
