  1. Now the body is ruff on the outside and I already dented the rear quarter panels it fell off a trailor loading it up during the snow storm...... But I like it more of a sleeper and to let people talk shit about how fugly they think it is..... Hood scoop was gonna go but its staying along with the dryer vents at the top of it..... http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/12/l_8783b59315df49fb8f93594ea3dbe998.jpg http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/42/l_9ca85cd4ef9f4eb4ab04e9bbb57ccece.jpg
  2. http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/10/l_f591d074a3a24424926d45428903d134.jpg Well since my VW is pretty much done and I have done everything in iit I wanted to do as far as goals I wanted something else to play with this summer and started looking for an Mazda FC shell. Well As I was looking Hoblick posted up hae had one for sae with a V8 swap already in it. I got one hell of a deal but I had to promise him that one minor detail would happen this summer to it....... This is How she sits since buying it at the beginning of winter in 08. N/A 1987 Mazda RX7 Car came turn key, with Stock 5.0L H.O. conversion out of a 1991 Mustang T-5 World trans Oil Pressure Temp sensor Car has been thru 2-3 people I have found out and even found pics of the engine going in for the first time.... http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/50/l_c5eecbd656c445a6bacaff5b9881a2e5.jpg http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/9/l_01144402d4e44e38961c78c4f9cb60cd.jpg It will stay with me for a while hopefully and I plan on pushing this car to its limits... Why did I choose this path? Easy. I knew nothing about V8's or the ford world. I kept up to par with Ls1;s and knew what not to race but to me the 5Liter motor is pretty intresting little motor to beable to support 500hp and not skip a beat. This is a new learnig process for me and I am trying to do most of the work myself in order to know and have more knowledge then just sending it off to a shop to have them turn a wrench, Id rather my self be responisible and I'll be the only one to blame if something fucks up. Now dont get me wrong here but I already needed help on my brakes, Hell we beat on them for 2 days with no luck and they maxed out a 10,000lb press... thats out of my league as far as tools so i took it to will at 614 streets and he hooked it up. tuning will be done by Lasota and thats about it. I might even try to do some welding myself... Live and learn. Brakes Since then I have gotten it a five lug conversion with TII brakes all around and the Ebrake was fixed by "614 streets" He also had to help me and get the rotors off of the Aluminum hubs witch were a pain in the ass altogether. So in all the car has a completely new calipers all the way around with rotors and pads. Thats it so far. and here are some pics.
  3. im betting mine will pop half way thru the summer........ Then I will build it bigger and better... or just go buy another long block for 900 bux.
  4. Yes and no. Im saying dont buy a used sensor. Buy a new one I can make it at least a month on torco 110 or C16 and it will read on point. And thats racing every week at the track. Buy the Sensor and not fuck up your car if you want it to be accurate. Like I said pay 60 now or risk having your tune off and hurting your motor. Like Rob said you will need to change your tune here in 2 months anyhow.
  5. Im gonna stick to hose clamps, I guess considering the rest of the car this will be a real nice part of it lol
  6. I run leaded in my alum heads on the VW all the time.... lol
  7. Shit is exspensive!!!!!!! ill look into some small hose clamps thanks for the suggestions guys. I just thought hose clamps where a lil ghetto, I guess can swing gangster
  8. So hold on you are tuning your car and you want a used sensor?.... How would anyone know there o02 sensor is good and there gauge is bad?... Buy a new one there 60 bucks... better than blowin your shit up and rebuilding down the road.
  9. Yes , no band clamps came with the wrap. should have tho for the price I payed.
  10. Welll tonight I started on my header wrap install. I bought 80 ft of it from jegs so this is a one time not fuck up deal. I was using 14 guage wire to attach it at the ending points but it seems that the tighter i tighten the wire it breaks and its not a very clean install how I would like. is there any other forms instead of wire that I can use like small hose clamsp? even then can they stand up to the massive amount of heat that will be generated. These will be for turbo headers hence how much ft I had to buy to make sure to get every peice of tubing and why I would like a clea instal and not a million steal ties everywhere.
  11. Damn thats a deal, considering the prices at the last swap meet I went to.
  12. Just do it so I can has a ride pleaz....
  13. Light it on fire first and attach C4 to it for premium results....
  14. Hold on the thread is "Roll call" And your answer is yes! What ever roll you want.
  15. If you gotta ask about insurance you prolly will not be happy modding it considering payment and Insurance at the end of each month. Not trying to be a dick but if I were to get a car, insurance would last be on my mind cause if I could afford it my insurance would be pocket change considering the mods the car would undergo...
  16. I got my update today lost $400...... in 2 months not bad but fuck. whats Liquid assests?..
  17. You will need less rotating mass to stay away from the 7 this year... opps did I just say that/......
  18. He cannot be like Linn; Here are some key factors. Linn is or does... Jewish Camaro til death out of the game skis wears pink shirts out downtown breaks jet skis and has a mowhawk haircut Goes thru N20 like it was cheap bottled water.. Phil does non of that. He aint no linn.
  19. Damn all that work and to find out the culprit was a tube someone threw in with your meth kit that couldnt handle the pressure.... Ass beating.

  21. No it will be called the LSX Crucifier...... Your second.
  22. This is why my VW is together still to this day. rob is the shit. I prolly will buy something bigger and better for the 7 after this year is over its my new race car. The VW is done she will stay at 460... Maybe a paint job but thats it. How much can a boss block support?..
