we run the f4i, but we have much shorter runners, we drop off close to 14k on the 05 car The reason we tune to 15k is the PE controller can go to 12k or 15k (obviously changing resolution)

On Saturday, Goodyear invited us up to their test track for a track day for their sponsored FSAE teams. I have about 150 pics and and 20 vids, I will post a few pics and one of the videos to show ya how the day went. Oh, NO, our car does not have a body yet, and the HUD is still in progress, we still have a good amount of work to do, and still need to tune out to 15k, right now the rev limit is set to 11500 as that is as far as we have tuned thus far... suspension is the H&R Cupkit (matched spring/shock combo) the wheels are 19" Dronell Type 5 (true 3 piece wheel). This is my daily driver, so other than a few other aesthetic mods, not much more will be done. The larger portion of my money goes to my project car.

If you have the motor, I want it... its going in a STOCK accord as a REPLACEMENT, for a DAILY DRIVER (all that was for the thread lurkers not really interested in the motor) so, if you have the motor, let me know, i want it.

Anybody on this board from SlowMotion?? They had a couple nice cars there (hatch and a del sol) I didnt go, but heard about them. I also heard they were complete dickheads to people when they went to talk to them and ask about their setups and such...

So I purchased some 19" (by 8.5 front 9.5 rear) Dronell Type 5 3pc wheels. I am considering having the centers powercoated before putting them on my car (328i black) Right now they are painted shadow-chrome, but I think powdercoating offers more long term durability. Should I put them on as they are in silver, or should I powdercoat them? And what color do you think, black?, gunmetal?, gold? I agree that both have advantages/disadvantages I personally have only done roll races when street racing, its just how we do it with the group I go out with, on the highways around here, late at night, with cars in the back blocking traffic and another guy usually w/ a camera.. I guess we do it that way because its the easist to get away with for one, you race then you move, its a lot harder for the cops to catch up to ya or find you when you keep moving, we also seem to have cars set up much better for races from a roll... but anyways, all is good. late
