I think Sam is saying there is nothing in this video that displays their technique as professional rather than what just about anyone can do. I dont doubt they are professionals at building boats, but loading, its commonsense stuff.

Who else doesnt use a smartphone?

It would be nice to have, no doubt. I just cant see spending that kind of money. Mentioning all that porn is making it sound like a better deal though. -

I would pay retail for the iphone if it wouldnt cost me over $130 a month just in data packages(multiple phones). -
One of those cars I think looks kinda cool but you would never see me owning.

I had a better cell phone 19 years ago and the service was cheaper. -

2 years ago there were decent phones for kids. They only care about texting(unless they can get the iphone), but this year I couldnt find anything that was either clearly junk or a flip phone. They had a few with keyboards but they were either oddly shaped or tiny. -
First I dont really have any cellphone but my wife and kids do however none are smartphones and require no data package. This is due to financial reasons. However when it was time to upgrade there were really no options when it came to phones. I was told that manuf.'s werent even making these phones any longer and if you want one, the future will require you to go to pay per minute. Are others still using these phones are am I just a cheap prick? I know I am but is thereanyone else?

This isnt necessarily a skill that takes years of practice or training. I taught my wife to do it just as good in one afternoon. Go to any major vacationing, boating lake and you will see women(no offense) and old people doing this all day in various length boats.

Yeah, whats the strap take 2 seconds?
-
That wasnt hard by any means, if the trailer isnt necessarily down enough often you have to give it more throttle to get all the way forward whereas if he was down a little lower he wouldnt have. Thats usually the international signal for any driver to go ahead and pull out, why because you know when you feel that, its not going any further up so pull out. I just cant imagine them having a technique where they say once you feel that go ahead and throw it in neutral(push in on the clutch) and let the boat push you out and then back in gear and take it the rest of the way once you somehow feel that the boat is no longer the driving force. It could happen, but I drove a 650 for 2.5 years, not that easy with that power.

SHould have asked her how much pollution was put out in cooking the food to keep her that healthy.
-
I guess in all reality I could do the same with the 454 in my boat(dads boat), I have never tried it but I would have to think its more than powerful enough to push the mountaineer forward as well as itself. I would think it would push that 650 forward as well. Those triple outboards had more than enough power to move that truck.
-
In the vid it only looks like he is giving it enough throttle to stay fully forward on the trailer until its no longer bouyant and its weight is resting on the trailer, so it doesnt slip off as its pulled out, not pushing itself and the rig out as stated. If your used to operating it, a 42' boat isnt much different than a 20' one. It would be difficult for someone whos not used to it, but something tells me this guy has operated one before.

I was thinking an acrylic or polycarbonite one but they arent as thick as a gym has and the glass gives it a much better bounce, reason I went with the one I did. I tell every kid over here to be careful because I am not above burying them in the backyard and denying ever seen them.

This is what I should do, but then I have to stare at a broken basketball hoop. And my oldest son plays on it all the time also, not his fault.
-
If I am not in a hurry I double check my outdrive actually came up but most of the time its drive on, lift, shut off and pull out. I had an older boat that had a leaking hose and the outdrive didnt raise once, that was nerve racking, everything else gets checked in the lot.

All the kids parents have already given permission to shoot the bbgun, use the tramploine, ect... He's ethiopian.

Why not? You back down the drivers in the boat and he drives up, its not a difficult thing despite the show at alum creek every saturday in the summer. Even an average boater whos confident in their boat can load it just as they did in the video. I dont understand why this seems all that fast? There doesnt appear to be any cross current to move the boat sideways as its loaded and he was able to hit it straight on. I think starting out where the 650 was a person could back down untie from a close dock and load in roughly 56 seconds by themself. Its that the boat is so heavy hes able to pull out without necessarily hooking the strap. Its still risky and I wouldnt do it with a light boat for sure. I never did it with any of my pontoons. That nice a boat I would necessarily place that much pressure on one spot of the bow in pushing that rig up. That looks about average speed for loading but someone who knows how to operate a boat.
-
Unless its a pontoon boat you always have to raise the engines or outdrive. I have loaded loats of boats of all different sizes and unless the driver of the 650 knew when to let off the brake and allow the boat to push a little, I dont see how its possible. Even if they did have it worked out, based on the video the boat didnt push it more than a few feet. Sound quality of the vid is pretty good, I never heard them rev high enough to produce that power.

The kids parents dont speak a bit of english, hes a decent kid and I know the second I say something about it to them they will never let him back over here. Not sure if they have any money, they have a decent house but the dad drives a cab and the mom doesnt work. How he affords the house he has on a cab drivers budget is beyond me.

Its the inground basketball system, the whole thing cost $1k, not sure how much of that will end up being backboard. I guess I will try and find a cheaper used one off craigslist.

My youngest son(13) had some friends over to check out the new MW3 game and they decided to go out back to play basketball. One of his friends asked if he could shoot the BBgun we have and he was told not today. We often let the kids shoot it at an area they cant hurt anything. 10 mins after being told no the kid comes back into the house gets it, stands in the doorway, aims and shoots a hole into my $1k glass backboard on my basketball court. Mind you this is nowhere near aiming at what we allow them to shoot at. Once again the money I could be spending on building my car gets spent somewhere else.
-
I see nowhere that the boat is pushing the truck. The boat seated itself and raised the engines.

I wonder how these will fit/look on my bravada. Factory is 245/65/17. Sucks I just payed $100 for a set of used tires the seller forgot to mention at tread seperation.
