This sucks I have never had a workers comp claim before but I am sue I will be losing money on getting reimbursed and getting the medical bills taken care of. I just came back to this company after being off about 8 months trying something new. They made me an offer I coudnt refuse to comeback and help things to start getting done. I think I can still sign up for cobra benefits and I will have company benefits come the first of may. Sounds like I will be forced to drain my bank accounts to make things meet and hopefully it doesnt ruin me. I think the wife may have to return to work.

Thanks guys. Eric I pm'ed you last weekend about doing some work on my house. I hadnt heard back from you. I have a teenage son that can take care of the mowing but I really appreciate the offer. So far they have tried morphene and didnt do anything although I am not sure on the dosage. She just gave me 6 oxycontine pills about 45 mins but nothing yet. They were giving me something I believe call diladid. It helped but wore off fast. The pain is so bad and unfortunately they say will be worse the day after. If only I could fall asleep. The cigarette patch is coming and I hope this may take at least the edge off at least from this angle. The worst part for me right now is that potentially one of our customers who's quality of work isnt as good as ours may take over the job. it sucks but this is usually how job site accidents play out.

They said the steel toed would have severed toes as well.

The staff here is amazing. Never would I have hoped to get such good treatment.

Right foot. I have been drifting in and out all day do to the pain. I have been told I will have to be off of it the better part of 6 months but I hope they exaggerated. I wasn ubale to get any dtails from surgeon about a prognosis and my wife didnt get alot of details or ask questions like that. Pain is severe and unbearable. No eating sice 11 last night and they still wont let me. They have tried dumping pain medicine in me but doesnt do anything. Passing out every 2-3 minutes is odd.

I was called into work last night(constuction) and we were starting to remove the concrete when the eye bolt snapped. 1800lb landed square on my foot. Split it open about 2'' wide and shattered and dislocated multiple bones. I was in surgery for 3 hours while they tried to rebuild the foot. I will be in riverside until at least monday hopefully no longer. pain medicine is little comfort do to what the doctor called to much trauma. I will update later

Wraps dont hold up nearly as well as paint. My truck was wrapped a few years ago and it started to show wear immediately. But this is driven daily.
