no :dumb: There are two plugs on the back of the radio. 1 large one (which is still in tact on the truck, which i have plugged into the radio), 1 small one, which has been cut (not plugged into radio since there is no plug). I'm not getting sound because the second plug is missing. I was looking to see if there is a way to splice those wires (from the second plug) into the main harness to make it work. The antenna is plugged in, radio picks up stations, lights up, works, just no sound

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500. The radio is missing. It has the factory infinity stereo with the two plugs on the back of the radio. The one big plug (the main one) then the second plug (small one, i believe it's only used with the infinity stereo for the amp system) Well the second plug is cut and the plug end is totally missing. I've installed a factory radio in the truck connected the big plug, radio turns on but no sound. I'm guessing the second plug needs to be there???/ Does anyone have one of these plugs they cut from a junk yard? Or how can I wire it up to work? you can get money off ordering. Just depends on who you know. With all new car dealers they have separate hold back money (money they make even if they sell the vehicle at invoice). Bottom line. Don't be a dick and chances are you are going to get money off. I hate people that come in being a jackass straight up front. I can tell you I will do more for someone nice than that. Also depends on the dealer, the time of the month, vehicle your looking at purchasing, a lot of variables.

JIMMIES ARE RUSTLED! I try to sell a warranty on every truck off my lot. It's their choice if they decline. Also I have them sign a waiver that it was offered. And yes I inspect the 03-04s, I only keep them if they are good at that time. Things happen parts go bad, lucky for the people that buy them they are dirt cheap. (the trucks themselves). And the 05+ trucks don't have all the same issues. When you realize them and can make a valid point I will listen. Also if you are a member on powerstroke forum you should understand that.

Don't buy a 03-04 they are shit 05+ are good. I would stay away from one that has had a tuner on it. After 27psi the bolts stretch and you blow the gaskets Hot shot's secret is the shit. I always have 2-3 bottles on the shelf. Just put that shit in a truck I sold today! Look for smoke at start up. Check for blow by. Egr deletes are key, but on the 05+ they require a aftermarket programmer. Check the Coolant in the degas bottle. Notice how long it takes to start cold. Drive it till its hot. Shut it off, then start it back up. Ficm are very common to go bad Overall they are pretty good trucks. The 6-speeds suck. You loose all boost between shifts and it's super laggy. Autos are solid and they are fast with them. I sell a shit ton of 6.0s. They are good trucks, just dumb fucks don't know how to make them last.
