  1. Consider yourself lucky for getting the money back. tongue.gif
  2. That, sir, is a waste of time that will either get you hurt or in jail. Let it go...learn to recognize jealousy and ignore it. graemlins/nonono.gif
  3. Finals means I have to go back to school this summer. I have to stop my money making @Toyota to go pay some jokers to try and teach me something related to the job I can already do. graemlins/nonono.gif Thermo, Mechanisms, and Engineering Analysis
  4. Definite ownage. Well done Jesse. tongue.gif
  5. I'll probably watch that, I just don't understand how the 1969 GTO is the "key to his redemption"? Dennis Hopper is generally pretty good to watch though.
  6. Please make the idiots stop breeding. graemlins/nonono.gif
  7. I would take it as a personal invitation to pour a concrete slab the size of my entire yard, sell my lawn mower, and buy a fleet of jet skis to cover the slab. You can even let her kids use their sidewalk chalk to draw pictures on your big driveway. graemlins/thumb.gif
  8. I have US Bank for my checking account which is what I use most frequently. They are fairly good on posting times and always accurate. Customer service has been helpful but it's always beneficial to frequent one or two branches so they recognize you (get better treatment). Only thing I don't like is the operating hours: seems like only 1/4 of the branches are open what I consider modern banking hours (lobby open till 5 every day and 6 on Friday, until 1 on Saturday). I don't have savings accts and an IRA at a local bank back home where my family has done business for years, so my experince with US Bank is limited to checking only. I recommend them though.
  9. Haha, that's awesome! I may still borrow the car my mom is buying soon from a friend of hers: 1966 Mustang with a built 289 that prefers race gas. Maybe we can line up our moms' cars some time... tongue.gif
  10. Used to be one up the street from me...I saw it out maybe 2 times a year. There was also one up at Ohio Northern last fall.
  11. Get graemlins/pics.gif Sounds weird.
  12. Yes, I believe this constitutes some major ownage...reminder to all players: only run what YOU brung. Nice and to the point, Clint, I like it. graemlins/thumb.gif
  13. I have heard that too but haven't foundnd any definitive or useful info as of yet.
  14. Good luck and have fun! See as much as you can. smile.gif
  15. I see a few around from time to time with intercoolers when I'm in Columbus, not really anything to gawk at. Doubt any of them are on here anyhow.
  16. I feel for ya man. That's a pretty shitty day. How were you missing lug nuts? That's really bizarre for your wheel to just come off without any help, I've never seen that before. Hope everything works out for you, your luck is bound to change soon.
  17. What a damn joke...the EPA consists of idiots and liberals who can't put 2 and 2 together. The smog in Licking county, where I live, is not produced by our county, it all drifts east from Columbus... Oh well, I'll just have to change my cars to Richland county, good thing we still have land there. tongue.gif
  18. I like those cars a lot. Only seen like 3 of them ever, last one looked heavily modded on a trailer headed toward Cbus on 33 last summer. You can expect to spend some $$ for one that was well cared for.
  19. I bet <3 months. If he's 16, even though from time to time there are exceptionally responisble drivers that age, the odds are he's going to grenade that car soon enough. Just watch ebay for salvage parts if you want em.
  20. Stick with the dorito, that's what I think sets the car apart from others. If you take care of the engine and don't push it's limits too much it can be reliable and make an awesome car. I personally would stick with a modified OEM engine because I don't like bastardizing things...
  21. I'm thinking about possibly picking up a small welder for autobody/light fabrication and I was wondering if something like a Miller 135 would suit my needs. It says on the Miller site that it'd work but I'd like some personal opinions. Ratings: 90 A at 18 VDC, 20% Duty Cycle 30 - 135 Amps Good thing about this one is it's 115 V, 20 Amps 60 Hz one-phase so I can use it anywhere without worrying about finding a source. Price is also a factor ($625), so if you know of a used MIG welder for sale anywhere I'd appreciate info. Thanks. smile.gif
  22. I had this notion that any jammers are illegal in this state...so I don't know what kind of fine you'd incur there, but by all means proceed at your own risk... Well, in addition to a reckless op being 20+ mph over the speed limit, which will NOT be easy to fight in court, I guarantee it, you could get a potential criminal speed violation, or so I have heard. In any case, if they had decided to chase you, they would most likely have arrested you because they are allowed to estimate speed based on how fast they have to go to catch you. Be smart and more importantly, safe
