Hey everybody I am looking at a 2005 R6 today. I have been out of the game for awhile.

Anything I should check/look out for?  What is the best guide to use for motorcycle values etc?

What happens if you get three in within a year? A friend told me the cop said they had to go to court. They were all minor speeding tickets. I had never heard of this before. Do they suspend your license or what? Or are they just bsn

I agree with the original poster and some of the others. A lot of these fucktards are too lazy to check or stop playing computer games even while your standing in front of them. Some people are too busy to drive all around looking for parts all day. Dont even get me started with a place in C Ville. Normally the place's that have low prices for a reason.

 

I still think someone could make a killing with half decent customer service and organization. I am surprised how some of these places stay in business.

if you want the 15 mb twc call and asl for sales..they offering free turbo 15 mb for a year...The 30/50/100 is available in Cincy area now and prolly we just part of Singature (sp) Home package in Columbus

its pretty constant gave a misfire code for cylinder 6

This car has 2 cylinders per coil. So if the coil was shot would it have two misfiring cylinders? I wasnt sure if it would or not I figured I would try replacing the plug first. Anything else to check? Thanks CJ

Your not at Alliance anymore? Most places depending on policies/balance will let you keep it there until you get another job and then you can transfer it.

Well after reading I dont think this car has a blend door. It has a knob/electronic controls like a lexus to change the settings from hot and cold called an air mixture damper control only. There is no knobs sliders just buttons and a auto setting like a thermostat with a temperature dial. So I dont know what else it can be. I took the water valve(heater control valve) out and bypassed it too.

 

Also what do u have to do make the heater core stop leaking? It has brass pipes that come through the firewall then connect to the heat core but are two pieces (not soldered the heater core) >the only thing that seals it are two rubber o rings and kinda like c clips that go over the two connections but it still drips.

No it really inst shifting at all now. I have left it sitting for a while. I contacted Rushman they said they would tear it part run tests etc for $150.00? Does that sound reasonable? Only thing if it is toast I will be screwed.

Well I got the codes read

P0733 continous gear ratio 3 incorrect ratio

P0734 continous gear ratio 4 incorrect ratio

 

 

So what does this mean? valve body? something else? trans fried?

This car will drive then wont move. It you shut if off and put in in park or neutral it will then drive for a few more minutes then die again. The engine runs but the trans isnt working right. It seemed to shift when I manually shift it. It always has had the check engine light on but never ran the codes. Is there any codes or electrical controls on this transmission? The transmission fluid is full and not burnt up. What I should check etc ? This is for a friend. Thanks CJ
