It has doen this 3 times ever. Sometimes it will be a few months before it does it again. I was sriving on the highway for a while and got off and the rpm shot up to like 2500 and wouldnt go back down only way to stop it is to shut car off a few times and it will go away. What could this be? Was told maybe a idle air control valve or soemthing like that

Far as I knew they are non interference engine. The belt broke on my 91 just replaced and went. CJ

I dont think sears sells them that big it is a T50 soemthing. I have hade 2 different lysle(sp) ones break. CJ
