I joined the Army National Guard in 1994 and they would not let me leave for basic because I was 4lbs overweight. They gave me 2 weeks to fix it. I went back to the MEPS center and I had lost 6 lbs and they still would not let me leave because my measurments had not changed. I WAS PISSED. I had already gone to drill like 3 times because I had to wiat for 3 months to leave for basic because there was not any space. I was sworn in, drawing pay and already went to Fort Knox to qualify. I was even working on Cobras with my platoon at Rickenbacker in the meantime. I was an Aircraft Armamnet Systems Repairer. I got a general discharge in the mail 3 months later. Never got to leave over 4 fricken lbs.

I can tell you that King of Columbus started back around 2000 or so. We ran it for a couple of years and we had a Nova that ran 9teens and Parker/John Holt was our big competition. We were some of the faster guys back then. I have not been involved for a long time but I think Parker/Holt still are and he was running 4.66 at the ADRL Race. I would say unless you can run in the 4's that it may be a waste of time. Anyone correct me if I am wrong. Like I said I have not been involved for many years.

PEER GUARDIAN I got busted by Wow 3 times. I started running Peer Guardian while I was downloading and I have not had a problem since I started using it about a year ago. I use Bit torrents and Vuze.

Couple things. I paid a lawyer for my last ticket. I ended up paying 1,000.00 to save 200.00. I guess it depends on how bad you don't want the ticket on your record. I also recieved the letter in the mail from the DMV stating that I had 8 points now and I could take the 8hr class on Saturday to remove two points. I was told that my oldest ticket would come off. I asked my attorney how all this seems fair and he said something to me that really made me take a 2nd look at our system. "Justice is not cheap".

I had a ton of respect for the police at certain times throughout life. However it becomes really hard to respect a position when it is abused constantly. You know, you think hey the cops have a really rough job and they dont get paid much and you think maybe I should not have a bad outlook towards them. And then you have some dickhead in your face yelling at you for no reason because he has a badge and feels like that makes him god. I have gone through the police academy so I have seen both sides of things. If we could get rid of all the ego maniacs then cops would be ok in my book.

How did the guy over react? He stopped in front of his house and asked him to move his spinkler so his car didnt get wet as he was driving by. He is lucky the guy didnt beat him up. I could understand if it was the next door neigbor and his spinkler was getting the car wet in the driveway but stopping to ask this guy this on his own property is just asking for trouble. I love cars but if his car is that much of a beauty queen then he should put it on a trailer and get it off the road.
