  1. PSA had a complete build kit for $399 ($419 shipped) on Black Friday. Bought off paper stripped lowers for $70/ea and ended up with $489 total in a few of these. Could have been $25-35 cheaper if stripped lower was bought at the store (on paper).

$1200 budget will build a great gun. I paid that for one off someone here when you couldn't get them during the last ban scare. I'm enjoying following this thread - good luck one our build!

  2. I pay for movies because I don't mind paying for entertainment. Movie was funny enough - the family and I enjoyed it so it was worth the price.

And I really like the delivery method. I'm 'in'' for watching new release movies from home for a fraction of the movie theater price. Sign me up for the next one! :)

  3. New Field and Stream store at Easton has loads of 22lr available. 500rd bricks for ~$28 each (limit 1). Also saw 40rd boxes for ~$3 each (limit 5). Been there twice and each time they have plenty. Happy to finally have some for my daughter and I to play with.
  4. I'm looking as well. Thought I had a garage lined up for my enclosed trailer but turns out the building is 2' too short to take the beast. Looking for 10'x30'-35' Indoor, outdoor or covered. I'm East but will consider anywhere.
  5. Get some training and buy a shotgun. The noise from racking the slide will be enough to make most intruders run the other way. And the ones that don't run are crazy and are there to hurt you or your family. Shotgun does the most damage with the least skill needed. (IMHO). Good luck with whatever you choose.

  6. The white stickers on the windshield and the 'gun' sticker on the back window had to go to park it in the driveway. The last one can't be seen with the truck parked behind it. It will be gone tomorrow afternoon. I'm getting messages from people who want to buy it, so I may only have it a day or so. Story of my life - have it for 24 hours or 5 years. :)

    Thanks!

  7. I liquidated all my civic stuff when I sold the race car, but my kids still each have Civics and I missed having one. Saw this pop up this morning on FB and jumped on it. 98 EX 4-door 5-speed with a good bunch of extras on it. (Control arms, lowering springs, rims, vtec controller, and more). Guy selling it needed cash and needed to unload it quickly. Drives great and can't wait to clean it up and decide what to do with it. May keep it, may pass it along and look for something else. I do miss having a Civic because they are so easy to work on and parts are everywhere! Onto the pics:

  8. Had (have) it on my head and eye (which sucks worse than having it on your body where you can hide it!). Didn't get to the Dr. until a week in when it first happened. Doc still gave me the meds and recommended I take the complete dose. And once you have it, you have it for ever. Good luck!
  9. Getting close! Got the new race seat and harness installed today. Fluids are good and I'm down to brakes/tires to check and load up! Anyone who makes it up can find my paddock space in the upper grass area. Most folks paddock down by the garages for the PDX, but I'm staying for the weekend and will be up top. Stop by and say hi!
  10. Still time to register. I'm finishing the prep on the new Solstice and will have it out for the PDX. Can't wait to drive this thing on the he track!

Any questions - just ask! This is a great opportunity to drive your street car on a real race track! Once you do, you will have a hard time not doing it over and over!!!

  11. The issue is probably the tax you are trying to include with the loan. That and the year of the car (older but not old) can make lenders want a better (for them) loan to value ratio. If you can pay tax out of pocket and maybe 10% 'down', I bet the lenders would make the deal happen.
  12. I've got a set of 5 I used for my kids when they were learning. You just add poles (broom handles or whatever) and practice away. You are welcome to borrow them. I'm in Pickerington and will be home tomorrow night. Message me if you need them. Matt
  13. Got the trailer put away last night an spent the morning getting the garage clean enough to get the street and race cars in.

  14. Sorry to hear about the added troubles with the heat pump. Getting the permit will ensure the city doesn't cause you additional headaches if they were to find out about the work. I know in pickerington the basic permit is around $25-30 and covers the post inspection. I replaced my water heater (electric) with a like unit and got the permit after the fact. Emergency repair allowed for the repair then permit. I've had neighbors who did the same repair and the city came knocking the old unit was at the curb. Good luck getting it all taken care of!
  15. Car and trailer arrived today. Car is very cool! Nicer than expected and the spares included are more than we discussed. All parts to put it back to stock and enough spares to replace just about everything. Trailer is also nicer than expected. 28' pace and it has the extra height and extended toung. Couldn't be happier with everything!! Many more pics coming soon!! :)
