  1. My friend's daughter just got her license. It seems it is still a tough market and figured I'd post here for some help finding a good deal. They are in Portsmouth, but would travel to Columbus. Thanks! Small midsize. 2017 or newer. Under 50k miles. Under $20k. Backup cam. Similar to Civic, Focus, Elantra, Optima, etc. Do not want a super compact like Rio, Spark, etc.
  2. PMed, going to see if we can help her out. What's the FB link? May be useful trying to hit up the grand parents.
  3. Hi Rocky! Hope you are well. My nieces 2003 century is on its last legs and will need replaced soon. I didn't see it on FB, still available? Thanks! Mike
  4. Just a quick update, I definitely decided to not use these old tires. I do have an appointment this week with Wheel Medic to see what my spacer situation is if I keep these B8 rims. Regardless, I plan to just use my new all seasons and probably get new winter tires next winter. I appreciate everyone's help!
  5. I feel more vested at this point since I already bought the B8 rims and ECS spacers test kit. Else I'd go ahead and throw back on my b6 set. Just got the ECS spacer kit last night and dropped car off this morning for Tire Discounters to use. Any video I should watch or tips I should pass along to them? Besides brakes need to also make sure doesn't hit outside fender/body when hit bumps etc.
  6. I did confirm, the new rims are B8 66.6 centerbore vs my car as a B7 is 57.1 . This is starting to be a pain just to use winter wheels? I feel better to just do this right with this rental kit. Or is the right thing to do is to dump these wheels and get correct ones???
  7. I was thinking about trying them tomorrow as they are closed. I decided to order this kit: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-parts/wheel-spacer-fitment-kit-rent-return/001202ecs03lktkt/ This is probably my best bet to do this right.
  8. Is there somewhere I can go and pay to have this done properly? The tire shop said 1/4in to 1/2 tops. I called ECS, they want me to rent this spacer test kit to confirm. It looks like it's practically free , well out $3 plus have to spend credit for the kit
  9. Searching for answers and figured post here too. I replaced my winter rims with newer Audi rims. Brakes arent clearing. It seems spacers be my best option. Not entirely sure sure which I should get. I have 2006 Audi A4 with pattern 5x112 I see a ton on the ECS site. Doubt I have a local option? Not sure if I should get 3mm vs 4mm etc. My old winter rims were from a B6 and I think these are B8. https://i.imgur.com/1ATMGba.jpg
  10. Thanks! he is stopping by tonight!
  11. I've reached out to Ray Hughes, but I know he is a busy guy. I want to have a backup plan just in case. I've managed to repair my current unit a couple times. It is currently still working fine, but it is the original from 2001 or so. I just want to plan ahead and get this thing replaced before we have any issues. FYI there is an electric water heater too that appears to have never been hooked up, it has a post-it on it labeled "habitat" I assume prior owner had planned to donate it, but never did. Therefore I need two heaters removed. We currently have a 50 gallon gas AO Smith. I am thinking to stay 50 gallon gas and want to get the longest warranty, 12 years I think. It is a power vented one with a blower unit on top. I am sure I can go tall or short with plenty of room around it. I've searched around a little bit at Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, and Worly Plumbing Supply. it looks likes most are $600-$1000. In general looks like install has a wide range from $300-1000. Any additional referrals or ideas welcomed! Thanks! EDIT: After some reading, seems I could just get a 6 year heater without issue.
  12. I've used Steve Anderson in Gahanna a few times http://www.andersontaxgroup.com/ 120 Mill Street, Suite 204 Gahanna, Ohio 43230 Phone: (614) 454-3023
  13. Derek to the rescue! He is going to get me squared away. Thanks!
  14. At Tire Discounters today, getting tire rotation. Informed me that front spring broken and would need 2 quick struts. Price is very high. Anyone available or recommend? 2008 Toyota Sienna LE, 7 passenger, FWD They also said I need new bearings and endlinks, but may have to hold off on those. I am reaching out to a few of my old pals here, but figured I should post in case they arent free.
  15. While in town, my mom hit a pot hole and bent a rim. It will no longer hold air. Looked on car-part to find the exact matching rim. There are some better deals if we drive a little bit, but locally it is a little high. http://www.bobstautosalvage.com/ in Beaver, OH 45613 has what I need for a great price, but that is south of chillicothe..... Her 2005 Neon has 15x6 5x100mm wheels with 185/60-15 tires Her current ones are the 15x6, aluminum, 10 spoke, rounded spoke end http://car-part.com/images/interchange/thumbW2193.jpg There are plenty of the other styles, including steelies, so debating to just swap out all 4 wheels too as it seems most of her wheels are corroding anyway. Two of her tires will need replaced very soon too. I looked on CL hoping maybe a total set of wheels/tires, but so far no hits.....
