  1. It's become a new hobby that I had no idea what I was getting into when I bought it. You can build the engines with internal/external upgrades etc. I got this one for $400, but the guy had over $800 in it lol. You can get that motor for I think $180 at harbor freight, and frames are cheap if no engine. It would still go probably 20-25mph no prob.
  2. Picked one of these up lil while back. Goes 35+mph, will do a smokey burnout on the slick, and it sounds like a mini harley. This has a 212cc engine with minor bolt on's (yeah I typed that right). It needs a bigger slick and wheelie bars. As I've almost went down several times. But it's light enough I can pick it up and put it in a truck. Called a doodlebug or baja racer. You can get them with springed seat frames for a better ride.   3. Roll racing isn't for everyone kids. I think whats great about this car and the others from the other big 2, is that we are in the middle of another muscle car era. Its cool to see and who knows when it will end or if it will ever start back up again if it does end.

  7. Says kit doesn't included lifters. Have you priced hyd. roller lifters? They aren't cheap. You need a blower.

  10. Basically if you cut a .020 light and other guy is .080 and you run close to your dial you probably have a whole car and a half at the finish to slow down with and not break out. If you are the bad light guy you prob cant get to the finish the same time other guy does so you dump him hoping he breaks out.

  15. I'm 60% sure that you are probably wrong, being 75% of this board doesn't post. Think that last part is about 80% correct though.
  16. You can DD a powerglide being the final ratio is still the same. While a PG uses less hp you will lose the lower gear a 350 provides (assuming we're not talking a custom trans deal). So you may actually go slower switching to a PG. Any idea on the stall of the converter? And I wouldn't use a line lock for any type of "launching". But that's just me.

  18. There needs to be a east side meeting area. Didnt want to spend the gas to get to ricemill.
  19. Be prepared to pay possibly $100 an ounce. I think I know a shop that can still do the r12 for you. Ill check and get back to you. R12 is much colder than 134 though. Can also check on conversion kits as most can be changed over.
  20. As title states. In good working condition, no problems with it I just upgraded. It does have some marks on the rotors themselves where it was touching the case (happened before I got the blower/car). I took it to Fowlers in early 2013 where they fixed it and went over the blower, and said it wouldn't cause any problems. I have the receipt for that as well.   21. I believe it is, as I have been pulled over a couple times for it. I admitted I didn't have it on and paid the ticket.
