Blk, 5 speed, tan cloth interior. $1400 firm
I am the second owner. 245k miles I have put on about 1k miles. The original owner is a doctor and took great care of this car. It does have rust, it DOES need work. This car is stock.
It has had alot of work done to it to keep it up in the condition it's in.
Metal head gasket on when i got it. head gasket IS NOT BLOWN! holding great.
this is what i have done;
"new" used turbo($300), new brake master cylinder, new plugs & wires, valve seals, cam seals, new battery, almost new blizzaks on it 225 50 16's on factory sawblades in good shape, great winter tire, new water pump, new timing belt and tensioner, new alternator, *EDIT new fan & fanclutch, new thermostat, new pressure release radiator cap, new air filter, oil filter, I cleaned the "spark plug valley" really well, over an hour labor cleaning that mess (from valve seals leaking, the old ones)im sure there is more i have done. EDIT*I have another head gasket for it, I have some 440 injectors for it that are in mint shape, used a whole can of lucas oil in it. nothing but high test since i have had it, Dr. says the same, and told me to only use high test, it does make a difference in this car.
I bought a "complete head seal and gasket set" almost all of the seals and gaskets are on the car now. Saves you from doing it.Oh yeah the TEMS system works great, the car could use new shocks, struts whatever you call them.
The bad, this is a 250k car so yes it has been driven and has rust, the exhaust manifold has cracks so it boosts like crap, it will make about 6 lbs, but it will start to cry about 5 lbs, doesnt creep just cries, when the car heats up the manifold expands and drives a ton better, but it needs a new manifold badly. I swear there is a vaccum leak but I cant find it. it does leak a little bit of oil, nothing like how it was before.
maybe a qt. of oil every 2 fill ups, alot of that oil is burned off to, so not that bad of oil leakage. the cooling system has a leak somewhere, maybe a new radiator will fix this, maybe alumaseal will fix it. when you drive it normally it will NOT get hot, if you get on it, it will get hot, imagine that. I could make a list of odd ball $5 problems but i wont this is a 20 year old car with 250k miles. EDIT* I forgot the power steering pump is bad also, I will not fix it because I like the feel of it being out on this car gives it a much better "Drivers car feeling". EDIT*
This is a fun car to drive. I cant put anymore money into it. Got engaged and bought my first place. So my money is going into bathroom towels and kitchen cabinet knobs the joy, oh the joy.
