right now mine is boltons + cam car. I do have the stock heads on still though. I was thinking about putting a 100shot on or going with a nice set of heads. right now it's in the low 400's whp(been dyno'd). i'm going to research more over at ls1tech and ls1gto.com and see what are a good budget set of heads to run. What heads are you running?

Just curious so that I know how far to take my gto in the future before building up engine internals. What would be a safe assumption in how far to push a stock bottom ls1? Thanks Paul

Oh I hear ya on that I'm just to the point where i dont want to drop tons of money on a stock car again and just wanted to buy one that had what I wanted done to it in the first place. If you are worried about buying a car that will be recognized locally then buy out of town.

If you found 2 exact priced cars: Buying one that has been pampered and already has desired parts on it>Buying stock and buying all those parts. All depends on the person who put said parts on previously.

If the price is right and the parts are quality and you talk to the previous owner and know how he takes care of his cars then theres nothing wrong in buying a car already done up. Look at me. For the same price of a stock GTO, I got one that has been pampered and also has almost everything done to it that I would've done to a stock one. You just have to look everywhere to find those kind of deals and not get a ragged out one, ie: Phils 06 gto lulz. but srs though. scoure the internets and you will find a babied modified car for a good deal somewhere or Buy 5k roller and insert drivetrain of your choice

Well I was looking at a variety of cars and stumbled upon this one. Once I talked to the previous owner and heard what was all done to it and after a test drive, I had to have it. 2004 with 80k miles on it, 6spd. Got it from a local guy who put a good bit of money into aftermarket quality parts(got the whole parts list here but it'll be a secret:gabe:) and got it tuned as well by dyno brian. The previous owner babied this car and it shows. Finally got some new drag radials on the back so time to open up the throttle without getting too squirrely. Ol' Bumble pulls hard as hell to say the least. Wasn't really all thrilled with a yellow car but the color grew on me and the yellow has a nice pearl in it. Luckily the interior is all black so go easy on me broski's.
