  1. Pull the aluminum covers off the back of the unit. The first cover will let you take out the filters, the second cover underneath that should let you have access to the rotor. I'd bet it got damaged in shipping. It creates a vacuum when it spins and pumps your fuel.
  2. The photoeye/flame sensor tend to get covered in dust (at least on a bunch that we see). We find that a lot of people say, "Well it worked when I put it away last winter." Well, it sits for a year, and the dust collects on the sensor. If it can't sense the flame, then it shuts off the fuel. No fuel = no heat.

     

    Basically, wipe/blow the dust off.
