On the 8.8's when using the FRPP gears do you still use an installation kit ? I know people that do them all the time and use all the stock shims. That is how my car was done and it works perfectly (this only applies with FRPP gears)

Only around 5000 miles on them. 265/35 18s in the front 295/35 18s in the rear. BFG Kdw's with great tread life left. Asking $1200 ObO. I am located in Columbus Ohio and will ship if needed. I will post pics if requested. I know everyone has seen these wheels before

EXACTLY what i was thinking... The trans had 26 spline input shaft, beefier shift forks, carbon fiber synchros, and other stuff. I think I broke the output shaft or counter shaft. It was running great before it broke though.

Yes, it sucks. Luckily Shanton was with me and had AAA. So we used one of his free tows to get my car to Hal's. He will be pulling it apart when he gets a chance. We will post what happened once we figure it out. I honestly think this might be the last straw for me. Probably going to put it together and get rid of this thing.

The car just moves out of the hole, and then doesn't do much up top.

I really don't know what happened. The stock trans lasted almost 50k, and the fully built trans lasted under 3k miles.
