I've always used Mr. Tint on Frank rd. They have done excellent work on all of my vehicles.

the S2/RS2 platform came out in 89 to the public.

I don't mind that my car is on a passat chasis. VWs are very smooth driving vehicles as well, and my S4 has 153k on it just getting broken in. Haven't had any issues with it, maintenance is key. The car is capable of track driving/auto-x/grocery getting etc.. all in a stock package but not that I track the car really. Anyways this thread has gone too far off topic. S2 is a beast for its time, the RS2 is even better. There was no f-body's when that car came about.

The 30v came 98+ models 12V 95-97/early 98 model year. And yes I can attest to the little problems turning into big ones if let go too long. But *knock on wood* I have had a toruble free audi!

Valve cover gaskets leak, front control arms/tie rods go bad occationally, cv boots, make sure tb/wp has been done on time. Thats about it besides regular maint.
