haha a very similar situation happened at the pizza hut in dublin where I work. 3 of my co workers (manager and two cooks) were smoking weed out back and one of our drivers called our main manager and all she did was tell them to stop smoking and get back to work. Everyone at my store would quit if one person got fired for smoking weed. Everyone still does their job and works well, half the time you can't even tell anyone is high.

Yes, thats what I'm trying to do now, I really don't want to go through with removing the tint again. I had 15% tint on the celica and got a tint ticket and had to pay 120 to get the fronts re tinted. Anyone know of a cool eye doctor that can get me a prescription for tint? haha

haha those are great except if you caught caught you're screwed. I wouldn't even risk using one around here I'm sure they have ways of monitoring the traffic lights

I'm good enough with car audio to figure it out myself, I've done the system in my celica (with help), and in my audi I installed a line output converter to the stock bose amp and added a sub and amp to that. I actually just found a pair of used bose rear decks and picked them up for $50 in good working order so hopefully these last a few years and now I won't have to pay $150+ for speaker repair. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and info.

I did replace the speakers with 6 1/2'' infinity reference 2.65 OHM and they sound like absolute shit. Thats why I went back to the route of repairing the stock ones. I have been looking on audiforums for a used pair in good shape but they are hard to come by.

I'm not really worried about bass with these speakers I just want them to not rattle and sound like crap. I have a 10'' fosgate sub wired in on the stock amp so I just want sound quality without switching out the head unit.

I can't stand it when people hear my car in a neighborhood and scream at me to slow down when I'm not going faster than 20. One time I stopped and threw it in reverse when some bitch yelled at me to "slow the fuck down", I rolled down my window all the way and asked if she wanted to ride in the car and watch my speedometer while I proceed to go 25mph. She just shook her head in disbelief.

Im not sure what exactly is wrong with them but they put out no bass what so ever. The reason I want to stick with the bose speakers is because replacing the stock head unit is a pain and no aftermarket speakers sound good with the bose unit.

It was a crown vic. But I just paid the ticket. I don't feel like dealing with court again.

I can afford to pay the ticket, I really just don't want to pay for a second tint ticket. As for why I was speeding... I thought it was a 45mph zone but I turned out to be wrong.

I got a speeding ticket in Perry township a few days ago. I got clocked at 52mph in a 35mph zone and I asked to see proof that he clocked me and he said he legally does not have to show me. Is that true or can I fight this? Also he gave me a tint ticket for 21% tint, I already received a tint ticket from Worthington about 2 weeks ago, and I told the officer I was getting the tint replaced. He still gave me a ticket for it. I thought there was a 30 day period to allow me to get my tint fixed.

I talked to Jeff today, 146k miles on it, not quattro that was my mistake, its a 5cyl NA. Lifters were replaced at some point by him. I will have pics tomorrow.
