check for leaks (valve cover gasket, dipstick gasket, differential), check coil packs, front suspension kit as others said, abs control module, abs pump. My 1.8t has been trouble free for about 12,000 miles. Just make sure your up to date on the maintenance and you'll be just fine.

Part time driver for Pizza Hut, starting my second job at Sears Auto Center as a level 1 technician soon. Starting in the fall I'm planning on quitting pizza hut and working only at sears while attending school at CSCC.

I was at pick n pull today and found for sale an 89 Conquest TSI 5 speed for 999. Paint was rough, interior was fair but hell I'd consider buying it.
