Different prep, different weather and a different driver will all affect the 1/4 time there friend.... and as far as the aruguement that it's a Z06, that's a pretty weak one. For starters, the interior in the fifth gen is far superior to the vette, the LS3 is far superior to the LS6, the trans in the new camaro is 10x better than any previous six speed that GM has put in any of their productions cars, excpet for the ZR1 (because it is relitavelty the same). As far as handling, ride quality and feel, the camaro is far superior. Plus, who gives a shit about .2? Honestly. The new camaro is quite amazing.

If I remeber correctly....fly cutting is not necessary with the MS3, but you need to check the piston to valve clearance (you always should with a cam swap anyways.) With the MS4, it is necessary I believe, but to be 100% sure just call Texas Speed and they can tell you. On a second note, I think to many people over look the value a set of good flowing heads have. While yes, they are not the cheapest product to buy there are many affordable ones out there. Swapping them on a LS motor, is really not all that difficult and in return, you will greatly increase hp and tq numbers all the while imporving the effiency of the engine. At the same time, you will be utilizing the full potential of the increase lift and duration that the cam offers. Even a set of 243's, with mild porting will have great benefits. Just my $.02....

I like the wheels. The gun-metal as opposed to black, which it seems that everybody and their brother with an f-body have, looks sharp. Side note, any reason for going with a gloss on the berger as opposed to the "correct" semi-gloss?
