I don't really think any specs will be looked at when people decide on this. I think many will see the term dvd in "HD DVD" and will just assume it's the next step up. Blu Ray, I think will be seen as some radical alternative through the masses and many will assume it's not at the standard. Either way I don't care because I'll have a PS3 soon enough and I already have a 360!
