Just like the title says, were running at trails this sunday. I suggest you pre-register at http://www.dlbracing.com to make sure you get in as last week by 7:30am the event was full and people were turned away!! They only allow 30 on-site registrations.

Don't get me wrong, you do find some funny stuff, but how you find it is beyond me....and almost always good for a laugh(or an emptying of my stomach!)

What about a transfer fee?? Read the small print as a lot of companies charge a % fee on balance transfers that can negate a lot of the savings you could have. Can't help much more than that as I stay away from credit cards and have only read into doing what you are, and never done it.

I've heard of K sport, don't know anything about them though. G4?? Maybe just a brand I've never heard of that makes good stuff for volvo's. We just got the KW's on the S2000 and love them. Their great quality, tons of adjustment, great on the track but they don't beat you to death on the street. We talked to KW and they seem to have a good easily accessible service dept. too. If all those coilovers are aorund the same price def. go with the KW's.

That's a good point about uploading. The minidv format or at least the file type the Sony uses is the .avi which is one of the most common. Though I like the idea of a camcorder with a hdd I have no problems offloading my video onto my computer.

I'll be at the Lube around 9, 10 is just too damn late to be eating. BTW, if you are not a customer of the Lube you will be asked to leave, so if your planning on doing the hanging out thing it won't last 15 minutes. It's been tried many times before.

I have a Sony mini-dv and love it. Mine I believe is the DVR-HC26 model, got it for $300. It has most of the basic features like a nice touch screen, image stability, night mode etc....Tapes are relatively cheap and so far even with the constant vibration of rinding on the car for autocross runs it's been problem free. Battery life isn't the best as they rate it for 2 hours but that's if your not actually taping or using the view screen, I just need a longer life battery. I got the camera, carry case, tripod, pack of tapes, and extra warranty I believe for about $400 together which is great IMO. Can't go wrong with the Sony's.

The advantage of AWD would be negligible on a road course, especially one the size of Ledges and speed you can carry on it. A small tight autocross course would be different. It would be about the ever important power/weight ratio. If I still have the Laser I'll def. bring it up there for the track day, I've been wanting to go really bad.

That's what I was told, but Vance's reccommended a document of some kind for safety's sake.

If they are still a street oriented tire they might be ok, but autocross will work the sidewalls and I can't see those tires being good for it.

I'm selling my Smith & Wesson model 910 9mm handgun, it has a 10 round magazine, I believe it's civilian version of the old police issues. I've had it for just over 2 years now and paid $350 for it at Vance's. It has NO holster wear as I bought it because it was so clean and I kept it in a case. I have shot around 150 rounds out of it and it appears to be quite clean still(though I don't know much about guns). Hal, next sunday were running at Trails if your interested. I know it's mothers day so I told my mom if she wants to see me she can come watch me race!! I'll be going to see her saturday anyway. Good advice Joe, Brakes are huge in racing like that, otherwise all you need is a sound running car.

Very interested though I won't have the money for a couple weeks yet, I've been itching to get the Laser out again.
