  1. Ed, I got my magnetic material at Andersons or something then went to a graphics shop to have mine made. Cheapest way is to find some magnet material and buy some number/letter stickers at any store and do it that way. Bob, I think I remember you from last year, you were one of the 2 STi's running AS that day right?? You can make tire pressure adjustments on each lap!! Just remember, the nut behind the wheels typically needs constant testing and tuning. Pat, what tires are you looking at??

    Grindhouse

2 Movies with some fake trailers in between(though I hear now 1 of them is real). I know Rob zombie made one of the trailers. Looking forward to seeing it.
  3. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/38f167f9-abb4-4e5f-b91c-981b00399708.htm Funny at first but the bitch gets annoying.
  4. Yeah, the tape sucks, I just got my magnets done also. Watch the weather reports as it looks like rain, I guess I'll have to bring both the slicks and rain tires!!
  5. That looks like the car I saw at the police auction a couple weeks ago, if it is, it had an odd smell to the interior...
  6. Racing starts around 9:30, no need to be there before then if your going to watch. Stop by and say hi, your welcome to a ride.
  7. D16z6 > 4.6 > Lt1 > Ls1
  8. That may work but most people that are into a motorsport setup their cars primarily for that sport. Then again some people want to do it all but there are very few. I just found it funny, like Rich, just the way the people are on here. Though everyone's intentions were good and intending to help, as usual it got carried away!! Also I know Rich slightly and knew right away his intentions for the car were definitely not for drag....though most people couldn't know that. Either way some good info was provided.
  9. This is going to be a daily driver folks, maybe some occasional autocrossing as drag isn't the only kind of racing out there!!
  10. Ed, you are in "G Stock" then. They have loaner helmets there but if you want your own the best place is would be Iron Pony, they have nice open face helmets starting around $75. They MUST be DOT and SNELL certified for autocross, if not they can't be used. Pat, this sunday's event still has plenty of room still so if your ready why not?? Definitely do the drivers school, I won't be there for that event but Ray will.
  11. Welcome to Columbus Racing Rich, this is why I'm here is all the entertainment!!
  12. 1 week to go!! I can't wait. Right now the weather report is calling for rain saturday but it's way too early to tell yet, either way we have rain tires just in case. Everyone got their cars ready yet?? Yay, triple post!!
  13. I've noticed this on ours as well, but only noticed just a little bit. You can set the image size down a bit and that may help but I'm not sure. We usually only run ours at 720p at best though, so that may be causing your pixelization.
  14. No. Still have to buy it seperately.
  15. Still worth it in the price if your like me and dont own a 360 yet, it's only $80 more and the HDD alone costs $100. I hope they make it in white, I don't like the black at all. This is why I never buy a console until they've been out for at least 1 year!! Though they still need to start including the hd-dvd player.
  16. Benz: Your car will be in "CP"(your best bet), "XP"(but almost nobody runs it yet), and "EM"(against open wheel cars and Factory five's). Hot Wire: You could be in "GS - STX - DSP - FP - SM - EM" Just saw it's a turbo car, awd?? Let me know your mods and I can tell you which one.
  17. For all: The saturday test and tune on the 14th is limited and already full, you must have already registered online. The sunday event has plenty of room and on-site registration as well, though I've heard about an issue with the registration site on not allowing people to register for the sunday event, I will ask about this. Hot Wire: Is the car modified?? I'll need to know what's done to it if anything for the class and I can ask for you. You can sign up for as many events as you like except that saturday T&T. Better to ask questions now than be bogged down the day of the race and end up frustrated. Benz guy, sounds like a "CP" car to me but I'll find out for sure. I'm going to ask about the registration as they've been having issues with it, I'll keep you posted. Pat, not yet. If it were a turbo car it would have sold within a couple weeks but it's n/a. Plus now I need another steering wheel for it as I took my momo out to put in ray's S2000.
  18. ^^Yup, Derek can do it. If he can't get to it go to Appearance Automotive, they can do custom alignments.
  19. The OVR driver's school would be most beneficial even if your not a novice, you will get one on one instruction to learn the basics or whatever you need. The best way to learn and get better at autocross is to do it, nothing can replace experience.
  20. It's called "CVT" or continuosly variable transmission. It uses some type of belt/pulley system to constantly adjust the transmissions speed with the engines. A friend of mine drove a car with one recently and said it was wierd, the engine was always at the same speed depending on the pedal position but it never shifted, just constantly accelerated.
