  1. As long as the car is in good running order and can pass tech, just the driver needs to be in sort!! BTW, my buddy that just bought his rx7 will be in the same class as you and our friend with his mr2 so you should have fun.
  2. No, I didn't do anything wrong as it was the BMV's mistake. Though they said I had to prove it as they didn't care.
  3. I would call AJ Asphalt, they do good work. I work for Chemcote but we don't do driveways. Measure your driveway by it's length and width and give them the sq. footage and they will be able to figure out your tonage needed. If there are any spots that are soft in the driveway now make sure you have some "304" stone put in to sure it up, the asphalt will only hold up as well as the stone under it. Your driveway being the size it is you could pay anywhere between $3k to $5k like said before.
  4. True story, the people at the BMV are stupid. I've been arrested before because I was unknowingly driving on a suspended license because of a BMV fuck up. I received no apology or anything for the headache and lost time they caused me.
  5. Yup, people owned themselves by standing there.
  6. I might join, I have some ammo that needs burned off.
  7. As long as that car is registered you MUST have the insurance as they believe you are driving the car even though you are not. Just get someone to make you a towing receipt and you'll be good.
  8. Just like any other car that is going to be used for what he's planning. An awd dsm will do the job, so will a fox body or an LS1 powered FC rx7. Any of those will fulfill your goal.
  9. Not sure, give it time as it just got up on there.
  10. For you especially!!! :asshole:
  11. Jason, here's the link to another thread with some info about it. Jesse, I stand corrected!!! How you feeling man? I talked to Joe saturday night about whats going on.
  12. Well obviously they made it to the ground ok but I would be looking for a mechanic as soon as I landed.
  13. By far the best movie I have seen in years if not the best ever. I don't think there will be a better movie for the rest of the year.
  14. UNDR PSI and I and a few friends are going to the arena grand 10:30pm showing of 300 if anyone would like to join us.
  15. Well this whole are is classic for the police presence and for double fines. Yesterday I noticed someone just standing off to the side of the road under the first bridge you some to after you pass Hamilton rd going westbound on 161. It turned out to be a State Highway motorcycle patrol and he was simply stepping out in front of people and signaling them over. He nailed 3 at one time as I went by and he's hard to see sitting in the shade under the bridge!! Everyone by now should know to not speed what so ever in that area.
  16. Go racing. Iron oxide is a slow process and can be removed quickly and easily, though not always cheaply. Depending on the kind of racing you want to do it may not be something you can do later in life or you could miss a golden opportunity of some sort that you won't get later in life because of age.
  17. Thanks ryan, I already talked to him about it. You need to buy it and put your turbo engine in it!!

    gameworks..

Thanks for calling me about this dick......j/k I'm broke until tomorrow anyway.
  19. Yeah, the problem you can run into is the gears are shorter thus you'll find the top of 2nd gear far too often and have to use 3rd. If your shifting too much your wasting time, though I know your not buying it for solely autocross. I liked the one I drove, it was peppy and handled quite well but the chassis is far from what the S2000 has and it doesn't have anywhere the power. Still a good little car I'm sure you will like.
  20. I forgot some of those had them, what year is yours?? I looked at one before but it didn't have it.
  21. Yeah, that wouldn't make for a fun day at work friday with having to be in at 6:30am.
  22. The Durango always had the "option" with it and it was in 90% of them. Highlander has a 3rd row. I believe the 02 and up Pathfinder has the 3rd row but I'm not sure. Obviously the Suburban, Expedition, and I think the Sequoia.
  23. Nice car Mike. I'm surprised this hasn't been asked yet: 5 speed or 6 speed? I drove a 6 speed and didn't like the gearing, of course I looked at it from a racing perspective. Those aren't girly cars at all, they have proven their worth a million times over on the tracks acorss the country and can compete with anything in the corners or dodging cones! Hope to see it out at autocross.
