I know the feeling of uncertainty, with my car up for sale as well I havn't been 100% of anything this year. If my current plans fall through I'll just bum rides with various people through the year. I could use some coaching before I get any more bad habits so I'm hoping to make the OVR school at the very least, as usual the money will not be handy in time for the Evo school.

Cruise to Cedar point would be a fun ass day.

You would likely be an "SM" class. A 240 won the "STS" class this year at nationals, they are a competitive car with the right formula.

Great primer Craig. I'm always willing to help out with the basics, just look for my Pathfinder parked next to the S2000 at the events. Craig has probably been racing about as long as I've been alive(sorry craig, couldnt help myself) and can help with a lot more than me, you can't miss the Formula when it's there. BTW, what are you going to race this year Craig if not in the Formula??

Exactly, Ideally I think it's best to work 1st or 2nd heat and drive in the afternoon. You get a chance to see other people driving, the line they take, where the problem turns are and in the early and late months it's not as cold in the morning so tires grip better. They try to rotate it around so most classes are running different times of the day each event so sometimes your racing first, sometimes last.

Novaman, you are supposed to work a heat regardless but they will live if you don't. Just think of it this way, if nobody works the heat your racing and a cone is knocked in the middle of the course or moves causing you to hit it you won't be too happy.

It's hard to be sure with the b/s removed, they can't gain you that much but you at least won't be in stock class. I'd say STX most likely. Joe: Riiiiiiiiiiggghhhtt!!

That's easy to do until you learn how the read the course as there's several hundred cones pointing in many different directions, even I still get lost once in a while.

I turn my laptop off when I'm not going to be using for a few hours. My roommate has a computer in his office that is hooked to the xbox for music and other things that hasn't been turned off in almost 2 years except for update reboots, it works fine.

Drag raing won't translate at all but you dont need any experience. Most people pick up the basics really easily. Getting confused by all the cones and getting lost is the easiest thing to do wrong and you'll do it at some point. Instruction is not neccessary but very helpful. There are several people on here that are experienced autocrossers that can help you, I can at the very least help you with the registration and tech potrions. When the time comes just let me know and I can help with the basics.

Anyone else play it yet?? I was skeptical at first but it's turned out to be a pretty good game. It's like Grand Theft Auto on steroids, lots of crazy action and as you progress your abilities increase and you can do crazy shit like jump 30ft in the air and pick up cars and throw them. So far it's a really fun game.

I don't see it on the site yet for registration, give it time.

One of the magazines compared an Integra Type R to a Mustang GT on a road course and some other tests, the mustang BARELY beat the ITR on the road course and only did so because of the long straight section. As Brian said any stock mustang would be raped by an ITR in the cones or on a tight twisty road. The ITR was and is the best handling fwd factory car ever made and fast isn't defined as only in a straight line.

I tried both, blockbuster is better imo. The returning to the store is nice and blockbuster has a better selection.
