  1. I just got my Butler Racing custom aluminum seat installed by Bender Race cars. Seat took a little while to get from Butler but it was custom made and because of a little longer than expected wait they threw on high density seat padding on for no charge. My seat was installed perfectly the way I want it and he had it done in a few hours. I will be going back to have bumper brackets made, cage finished out, and a few other things. They do tubs, cages, exhaust, and just about anything involving metal. 614-252-7223 Here's a pic of my seat... http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a20/ZeroBar78/Seat2.jpg
  2. Cool. You should come out, it's fun and easy to do. I'll be out around 10am or so saturday morning to watch for a while and will be there by 7am sunday to race. If you need any help finding your way around or have any questions let me know. :burn:
  3. There's autox again this weekend at Cooper Stadium both saturday and sunday. Sunday's event is eliminations so unless you're serious about competing Saturday is the day to go. I will be out to watch for a while saturday and racing on sunday.
  4. Pics are up, though there aren't many.
  5. Shott is about done, it was 11:30 last night when we were booted. If they're doing it earlier it won't be long before it's done out there.
  6. Last I had heard they were moving just down the street to the old Big Bear at Main and Hamilton, but I'm not sure of that. Have you tried leaving your email address to get more info?
  7. Ditto. Go to Hooter's, Sams club, or Thrift store.
  8. I was standing right there when that happened. Some douche bag in a pos old accord squealed his tires and almost rear ended a monte carlo, suddenly a bottle of some kind bounced off his roof and over the front of the car. The guys looked back to see who it was but everyone was just laughing their asses off, including me.
  9. Well that was interesting....For those of you who weren't at the Shott tonight you missed out on some entertainment. The typical burnouts and ricer stuff started as normal. Some black guys in a Maxima decided to drive around sitting on their doors showing off their alcohol and letting everyone smell the weed they were smoking. Cop happens to role in while they were doing this and they get stopped. The cop pulls the driver out but for some reason stops in the middle of hand-cuffing the driver and he decides to bolt, the passengers of course follow suit and they all take off running. Backup is called and they show up quickly, I decide at this point to leave. I follow MaverickGrabber and some others to Sams club but nobody shows, then off the the Thrift store and there's only a handful of cars so I call it a night. All in all it was entertaining. Anyone stick around Shott to see what happened? I assume everyone was booted...

Good job Joe!! The thread was finally dying and you had to come back in here........
  11. From the Shott lot you make a right (east) on Main st. Then turn right at the first light which is Brice rd. Turn left at the first light after you pass over I-70 then left again at the first light. Just like that and your at Sams club lot. Also you could make a left onto Main then exit onto 270 South and then exit 70 east. Take the first Brice rd exit(south) then left at the first light.
  12. Seen that video, dude got fucking OWNED!!
  13. Sam's club works. There's also a closed down theater that used to be called "Regal Cinemas" right by the Sams club, it has a huge empty lot as well.
  14. A 49 sec lap time is still good considering the car. The pics should be up soon, usually by thur-fri. I might make a trip to mansfield, though it's a bit if a haul for me with all my gear. Who's holding the autocross up there? I know it's not SCCA.
  15. It's in Columbus Square at 161 and Cleveland ave. The store faces Cleveland Ave just north of 161.
  16. I have 2 Hyundai 4G63 valve covers for sale. They fit any 4G63 engine. Both are in good shape with no cracks and I cleaned them as best I could in a parts washer. $25 each. I need them gone by this weekend or they go on Ebay by sunday. PM or email me if interested. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a20/ZeroBar78/valvecover.jpg
  17. Launch control on an awd 13-14 sec car??
  18. The link to the pages for pics and results is in the "At the track" section. Results are posted on the same site as registration at http://www.dlbracing.com or http://www.ovr-scca.org
  19. Walking distance from my place, I'm all for it.
  20. I go to every event wether or not I'm racing. You can always ride along with people and it's fun to watch. I need to say this though.....You really should register online at http://www.dlbracing.com If not then show up by 7:30 am to register at the event. Some people showed at the last minute and were turned away as only 30 on-site regitrations are allowed and all 30 spots were filled by 8am yesterday. It sux to get up that early on a sunday and be turned away. Take 10 mins to register online so your gauranteed to race.
  21. I think it's the gyro mounted camera and the age of the film that causes that, the camera mounted the way it is takes away the sense of speed. Remember, it was filmed in 1978! Great video!
  22. LOL! Passengers have a balancing effect on the side to side weight of the car and I can run equally fast or faster with a passenger so a bucket will go in on the passenger side soon as well.

The STi has quite a few engine mods as well though I'm not sure of the hp on the car. I mentioned this thread to the STi owner that your referring to and he said this is exactly why he doesn't get on this board, not that anyone really cares. Let the thread die.
