I know people that have them and still get tickets, so why spend the money? If you're smart you'll never get a ticket. I've never had a radar/laser detector or anything of the sort and have never had a speeding ticket(knock on wood).

We still have it nice compared to states that allow unmarked vehicles and allows them to hide without lights on at night.

I rode in a CTS-V. A 90 Laser is not a good basis for comparing to anything. I do ride in and drive plenty of newer vehicles frequently. For a brand new car the interior made some noises, the plastic felt like cheap material that's far lower in quality than even a Camry, the chassis felt soft to me for a sport/luxury car, and the car seemed easily upset by bumps on the road. On the other had it was a fast ass car and had handled quite well as long as it was on smooth pavement.

Yeah, I'll be running for the housing developments, no cruiser stands a chance with me there.

36.054 best lap, FTD was a 32.8 I believe to compare to. Too bad we don't have nice little printed out slips like trails.

True, but with me being 250lbs and a passenger prolly 150-250 also its a lot of ballast and makes a difference in this car. My turbo Laser wasn't affected by a passenger coming out of a corner because it had about 100 more hp. I need to get the weight down a little more and get about another 20-30 hp, but this car is still faster by several secs a lap than my turbo car was. My new seats will knock off another 70-80lbs, cf hood will help, and some more interior removal should get me under 2500lbs. Another 20-30 hp and I'll have plenty for autox, especially this year as we'll be running a smaller tighter course.

Shit, you should of come up and got a ride. I was solo for most of my laps. Though I won't be taking passengers a lot as this car doesn't have the power to come out of the corners with 2 people in it.

Autocross wasn't packed at all, I got 9 laps in. You guys should of come out and try some real driving!

Nice improvement. I had a blast today. The new tires kickass and I should be fairly competitive in my class. Couldn't have asked for better weather today and now I can't wait for the next event on the 30th. I'll put up some pics as soon as they're available.
