My cousin got this for me for xmas, came from japan for my project car, I have no use for a rev limiter /power builder on my car. here is some info on it for the rev limit........ The way in which it works differs from the factory rev limiter in that it is an ignition cut, as opposed to a fuel cut. The reason for this is because if an engine (particularly turbocharged) regularly hits a fuel-cut rev limit (such as in high performance driving, or particularly drifting) engine damage can arise due to the lean condition produced when the original ECU shuts off the fuel pump. The BEE*R rev-limiter allows fuel to pass into the engine still, limiting engine speed by disabling the ignition signal. The Bee*R rev limiter is fully adjustable in 500rpm increments, for safety reasons allowing only a lower rev-limit to be configured than standard. If you have spent a lot of money tuning your engine, or are running at high RPM’s for extended periods of time, it could be recommended to run a lower rev-limit to prolong engine life. Both Formula 1 and JGTC cars use ignition cutting rev limiters, so it is a fully race proven concept. here is some info for the launch control......... The Bee*R can also be used as a “two stage rev limiter”, as an aid for launching your car. The Bee*R is configurable for two different rev-limits. A lower rev limit can be activated by a switch, the handbrake switch often being used. This configurable lower limit, can be set to the optimum RPM to launch your particular car from in 500rpm increments. When the handbrake is released, the usual rev limit comes into action, allowing quick launches, and full performance down the strip. for all rotary, 4 cly and 6cly apps. alot of guys are using the z32 tranny's in there 240's after making alot of power with the sr20's, they use a maxworks bellhosuing ect. this place in california where i picked up my motor, had prolly 30 z32 trannys in stock, from turbo and non turbo models, I have no idea how much they were going for, but I still have the number and stuff if you are interested.

trannys should be easy to get ahold right? i dont know much about the z32's but the jspec trannys are the same? If so any jdm engine place should carry what your looking for.

yeah ive never owned an auto car, but helped with my friends 5 speed swap on a 240, was really easy IMO maybe because parts are really easy to come by also.

yeah fullrace and peak performance have a nice set up, but they range from 1200-2500 bucks.

the streering shaft issue has to deal with most manifold are made for RHD skylines, so when using the majority of topmount manifolds the 02 housing hits the LHD steering rack, but alot of places are starting to carry manfiolds made for the swap now........either way get on aol when you get time. I will be up for a while
