Hmmm thats weird, the issue I had with mine was it held good and felt decent, but would lock me out of gear in high rpm. Spec ended up sending me a new pressure plate and the new one did the same thing, then I just went with a twin disk and never had the issue. Once I go biggger turbo I will go back to a twin disk set up.

Im not saying im some turbo god, But I know a thing or two over the 11 years ive been into turbo cars and engines, The turbos he is recommending for a v8 app is complete waste of time , for the power you're wanting with the options avalible today buying a 50 trim is like taking a step back in time. Not even the small 2 liter dsm cowd runs those turbos anymore.

Are you sure you did not do something correct? my spec2 was stiff as my act2600 or more. For rb the spec3 is good for 515 ft/lbs or torque

This happen to me before and funny thing it had to do with a dsm, it all depends on how far you want to take it and how deep your wallet is. The police can get involed but cant do shit about it, I learned this the hard way the only thing you could do legally file a report then take him to small claims court. after it was all said in done I had a 1100$ lawyer bill for 2500 in parts so in the long run I still ended up fucked because of the bill and I never got the parts . Welp 09 is done and over so its time for me to figure out what im doing this year when I go back home to japan. Usually my girlfriend goes back with me but she is not coming back this year, I have room for an extra person ....... now I might be interested in having someone go back with me for 14-16 days to eat,sleep, the culture. What im looking for is someone very interested in japan, someone who loves cars, maybe studying, and very open to trying different foods , sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks ,and meet new people. If you like to drink that would be a plus since japan loves beer, and we will do our share of partying at night. I need someone who is financially stable and can pay for their own tickets ect. I will provide the room and food. This could be a one in a lifetime type thing for someone who has always wanted to go and just did not have the means of doing it, hotels can range from 200-1k plus a night in Tokyo , and a single steak dinner can be 150 bucks and its almost impossible for someone just to fly over and take a vacation, you have to know someone. My plan is to stay at my familys home for 2 days, and then travel from North to South hitting the tracks, big citys, clubs, bars,gamble, and see the real country in japan for one week, then come back to my familys house for the rest of the time. Yeah welcome back to 9 year's ago! you have some many options in turbos now its not even funny. The old shitty 50 trims non BB are like stoneage shit compared to the turbos that are out for 2010.

They need to set up more of a grassroot type drifting set up, not the get rich because jump on the banwagon type events. Even in california the events are night and day compared to back east. You do have all the hype of big events, yet any given day you can find the grassroot type places also.
