welcome to the site, this place is full of dick heads but you get use to it, their are other guys who have j-body (think thats what they are called) on here, one guy has a nice 30r turbo set up, either you will learn the odds and ends of the site if you stick around long enough.

You know how many times ive herd people say that wanted to import a car blah blah blah, even the guys stationed over there ive met never follow through , even guys in the military that get free shipping can not afford all the paper work money, taxes for both countrys, ect ive only seen 2 people send there cars back and one was my father, and another guy was in the marines, he had a 98 180sx he did not send the body of the car just all the engine and tranny peices, he took everything apart into 150 lb peices and sent his engine and tranny back in peices, now the engine made a home into a 240z and is running in TX.

holy shit thats like another car payment a month. My friend got a dui and reckless op and it took 6 years to get off his record just like the dui. Im not sure about safe auto ect but the cheapest place ive used has been progressive, for a evo they wanted 90$ a month when other places where 140+ that stupid lizard company said 240$ a month for me and I have a perfect record and im 26 years old so they are high as fuck.

dude im from japan and never seen a RHD camaro or vette and there are lots there, chevy is not going to make a special car at the factory just to make it RHD that would cost more money for a company . plus USA has the most strict laws with glass, bumper supports, air bags so having an american car in japan is not only concidered "safe" there are no issues emissions or crash test issues because of the standards we have here.

my friend has a sr20det z very impressive considering the engine is mostly stock, the car is still impressive due to its weight.

swapping an rb into a 240sx is more complicated then a z car im sure, the space in the 240 sucks, wiring any nissan/datsun harness gets easy with the more you do, getting a nice engine mounts and tranny mount set up are so easy to come by anymore you can find them used on nissan sites almost every week from fallen projects......... I dont get why a toyota engine would be more easy?
