  1. FS: 17" Porsche 996 Twist wheels 17x7 et55 17x9 et55 5x130 Includes Porsche center caps. The wheels have some very minor scratches, but no bends or cracks. Bridgestone RE11 tires. The front tires have a lot of tread left. The rears are getting close to the wear bars. Maybe one more season depending on your driving. 205/50R17 255/40R17 $500 I'll also separate the wheels/tires if preferred. I'd also trade for 18" Honda/Acura wheels, or 993 Cup 2 wheels.
  2. Ah ok. Nice to hear they fixed it. The cars I had mentioned were various friends with B5 1.8t and V6 A4s and two S4s. All of them had to replace wheel bearings fairly frequently.
  3. Basically my car had a sub, amps, etc when I bought it. The sub box takes up half the trunk, and the wiring isn't exactly clean. Also, one of the speakers sounds like it's blown. I was hoping to put the sub in the corner of the trunk in a molded enclosure, and clean up the wiring a lot. Not sure how much something like that typically costs, but I don't have the time/skill to do it myself.
  4. ...do all this if you guys would just relax your rules. I read the forum occasionally, but generally I don't have anything positive to add to the threads, so I rarely post. I don't know much about the types of racing or modifications that you guys are into to help anyone out. Would you prefer to have people post BS to build up their post count? I just wanted to make a FS post for my car and leave everyone alone. I'm a moderator of another car forum, and I don't see the big deal if someone wants to join to post something for sale. Maybe it's a little annoying, but if they aren't bothering anyone anywhere else, then I don't mind of they want to do that. What if one of your regular members is desperately looking for the car I have (unlikely, but anyway...)? I could be doing him/her a favor. Then I found that I can't even post a reply to my own thread in this forum...which I had the privilege to start...how am I supposed to respond to the advice that people are giving me? It's not my fault that I have to make a new thread each time. So I guess ban me if you want. If people are requesting it, I'm guessing no one will want to buy a car from a guy like me anyway.
  5. Oops, sorry. Didn't read very carefully.
  6. Don't use Safelite...their customer service is a nightmare.
  7. They were all on stock wheels/suspension.
  8. As far as courses, I don't know if they offer any RallyX driving courses, but if you want to do a Rally driving course, Team O'Neil is the most well-known in the US. I'm considering going later this year. The only down-side is the cost. http://www.teamoneil.com/
  9. I don't know much about stereo stuff, but I have some stuff that I'd like cleaned up in one of my cars.
  10. Everyone I know who has had an A4 has replaced wheel bearings like it's going out of style. That and ball joints. I think overall they are pretty solid cars though. If you do end up getting one (or a VW), I can highly recommend Motorkars on King Ave downtown.
  11. ...it also beat this guy with the STi... Not much you can do when they jump out of a ditch 50 feet in front of you when you are going 55 mph. Makes me wonder how they survived evolution.
