I am going to be moving out of the state very soon because of relocation for my job. I am going to need to sell my everyday driver vehicle within the next month. What would be the easiest and quickest way to sell the vehicle for a descent price? It’s a 1995 ford escort with 136,000 miles on it that is green in color. It’s in good running order and I use it everyday with no problems. Any help would be great as I have never sold a car before. Thanks.

I bought a WASR 10 AK47 at a gun show about two months ago and i'm not really sure on the laws. Do i have to register this with ohio in any way? what is the best way to clean my AK? it is the first gun i have ever owned so i'm not sure on everything.

I got pulled over today on 270 for no front license plate. I was driving my work car back to work from a different job site when i got pulled over. I didn't realize that i did not have a front plate on the front, but that’s not my issue. He gave me a warning for that so I went out and bought a new plate and I’m good now. He did give me a ticket for not having my seatbelt on which is a 91 dollar fine. The problem is that when I bought the car it did not have a shoulder belt. I have been driving for two years now without it. I always where the lap belt which I was when he pulled me over. This car is a 1995 ford escort where the shoulder belt automatically moves into place when the door is shut. I was also given a warning for my muffler being to loud as I believe the pipe broke down below and I need to get that fixed. Is this no seat belt ticket that I was issued today going to go against my license and will I receive points from this and will this increase my insurance? I was already pulled over earlier this year for speeding so I’m not sure if that helps.

If i ever do get pulled over for it i will just tell the cop the truth then i guess. it was a pretty expensive front bumper and i really didn't want to damage it. i did happen to buy the car in michigan a couple years ago though, so would that be worth mentioning?

i am not really wanting to put it on in the front because i am installing an aftermarket bodykit tomorrow. it doesnt come with a bracket ethier and i'm really not wanting to drill into it.

My check engine light came on about four days ago so i went to advanced auto parts to have the code checked. the code came out to be P0446 EVAP emission control system Vent circuit malf. Well i'm not really sure what all this means so i took it to a toyota dealership and had them look at it. They told me that a certain part went bad and needed to be replaced. The name of that part is a Canister and the part number for that is 77740-20512. he told me is was not the biggest deal and that the car would be ok but the check engine light will be on forever so as long as i dont get that part replaced. the part cost is 308.72 and then ofcouse it will be more for labor and all that. I guess my question really is that would this be worth replacing? if so could i get this part any cheaper from somewhere else? The car is a 2000 celica GT-S with about 85000 miles on it and i'm wanting to keep the car untill it dies. he also told me that this part went bad because i always overfilled my gas tank. the part is near he gas tank and something to do with it but i'm not sure as to what. any information would be great.

Is it illegal to just put my front license plate in my front window of my car? as long as you can see it clearly is that ok? i have seen many cars around that just have it in thier window and i am curious. i am getting a new front bumper tomorrow and i am worndering if i can just but it in the window.

I need a lot of help and any assistance would be great! i backed into some other car the other day in my 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S and created a large dent into my rear bumper and scratched a lot of paint off the lower half and cracked my tail light. The tail light is an aftermarket make by altezza i believe but i'm not sure. i'm not sure where to get one of those first off. My major question to ask is where can i get a good quality bodykit from? i have been thinking about getting one and this situation only makes it more of a pressing issue. I'm not really sure which body kits look good on my car so any suggestions there could help as well. i have heard once i get one i can go to any bodyshop and they can put it on and paint it correctly so i'm not worried much about that just where to get it is my problem. i have heard that polyurethene is the best type to get as well because i drive it quite a bit on the weekends. I'm not sure exactly what body kit i would like yet, i'm just looking into the options i have to where i could get it from and where i could get it installed and painted and done professionally.

Does anyone know of a place in columbus or near columbus that could install and paint a bodykit on my 2000 toyota celica? I also am curious as to were i could buy one as well. I don't know much about where different shops are or if there are any near by. I want everything professionally done. I went to a guy once that installed a few things on my car and none of which ever worked correctly.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that I can get a detailed cleaning for my car. I got my car broken into not to long ago and there is alot of shatterd glass all throughout the entire car still. I know that i will never be able to get all of it, but i was hoping to get most. Any info would be great.

I’m trying to find a cheaper car in which I can just use to drive back and forth to work. I’m only looking to spend maybe around $1000 but it will depend on the car whether I can spend a little more. An automatic transmission would be necessary because I cannot drive a stick. I'm looking for a couple places to look around town. I’m looking for a cheap car because of the fact that my car got broken into at work where the window got broken and my cd player was stolen. The entire event was caught on camera and the security basically said there was nothing they could do but they have an excellent description of the car and that’s about it.

My car is an automatic so it will never really be that fast so I figured I would go with appearance mods. The only HP gain improvement was with the AEM cold air intake that I installed. I would not even know where to begin with adding anything else to help improve the acceleration of my car. I believe that greddy makes a supercharger for my car but as where I could buy one and get one installed I also do not know. Thank you for the different suggestions as to where to go here in town. I will need to research these places a little more and see which is best. Thanks for all of the positive input that I received. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion on my type of car and I for one really like my car. From the responses I received I believe there are maybe three or four places that sounds pretty good to start out with.

I know of a custom car shop in Chillicothe that will do most of what I am thinking about doing to my car but I am looking for a place here in town. I have heard a place called Mr. Tint for my windows but I need to get my underbody lights fixed and redone. Right now I have all the basics done such as exhaust, intake, and rims. I am looking for a place that might be able to do a little more. A car shop that could put on a body kit maybe even and some different things with my interior. Any other ideas would be helpful I just need to find a place that’s here in town that does some things professionally. Any place in town that anyone knows of would help. Thanks.

Thanks for all of the helpful, and not so helpful posts on my car. I guess it’s not worth to mod for performance so I guess I’ll just have to stick with the way it looks. Does anyone know a good audio place for your car? I have heard Columbus car audio is good, as well as a place called mobile electronics. Any other places that anyone knows of that can help me out with the looks of my car would be great.

I have a few quick questions about things that I am considering about doing to my 2000 Celica GT-S. As of right now I have replaced the stock muffler with a straight pipe from the cat back with a tip on the end. It sounds pretty good to me, my question is would I get better performance out of my car if I installed a custom exhaust such as a reactive exhaust? If so where could I go to get that installed? Another question I have is about air intake, I currently still have the stock ram air system for my intake and I installed a k&n air filter replacing the stock one. Would I still get better performance out of a cold air intake? Is there anything else I can do to help acceleration in my car besides intake and exhaust with my car being an automatic? Another question I have is about rims. I am looking for new rims and tires for my car pretty soon and I was wondering where the best place might be to take them. I was considering discount tire but if there is another place that I might get the same quality rims and tires for cheaper I would consider it. I am thinking about 17 inch gun metal rims with Yokohama tires. one last question, I have many more ideas about things that I would like done to my car put I’m not sure of any places in town that do certain things. If anyone knows of any good custom car shops that I could go to, that would be helpful. I guess I’m not very sure as to where to go to get a lot of things done to my car. Any help would be great. i just want to say thanks for all of the different opinions about my car. my question about the appearance mods are only because my car is a 4 cylinder and automatic so it will never be fast enough to race. i was also not wanting to mod the engine at all in the hopes of keeping this car for quite awhile. as of right now all i have done to it is install a straight pipe from the cat back exhaust and replaced the stock air filter with a K&N air filter. these two things helped i believe speed my car up alittle bit and improved gas mileage. im not sure how to add a picture to my post so i am unable to include one with this post. i think i am just going to take the advice of many on here and do whatever i think looks good, ofcourse not try to over do it, but whatever i like and i think i will be able to live with. as someone said, i will never be able to please everyone so i guess i'll just try to make it look as good as possible to my standards. i know its no vette or firebird, which i would love to have, but i will make this car my own by putting on any mods that i like. so thankyou for all of the opinions again.

is there anything that i can do to my car to make it look any beter without anyone thinking that it looks "gay"? i posted about underbody LED's and i got a lot of mixed results about those. i guess im still not very sure after reading that entire section of posts on what is exactly cool or not to do.
