100% with you brother. Not only that, but it would hinder innovation with people wanting to get into the online forum /social media site space, as well as burden those startups already in this space and smaller site owners like CR. Of course I bet most companies that still have comment sections on their pages and articles will shut those down in a heart beat rather than be forced to moderate it because they are scared of the legal liability. Essentially harming free speech on the interwebs.

Bingo! IMO I think Twitter, FB, and everyone else HAVE to overreact to show that they have it all under control in these tough situations so the government doesn't look for more reasons to regulate them. An example would be the repeal of section 230.

Juice fasting, water fasting, intermittent fasting and a generally Keto diet has seriously changed my life. I sleep like a rock and wake up alert. All my gut issues are now gone. No more diarrhea after every meal. No more seriously debilitating acid reflux. No more pills trying control these issues. In fact I am pill free aside from vitamins and probiotics. So hey, maybe a stupid question here.... With all the things getting stuffed into various bills, is it possible to maybe pass a law that says you can't do that anymore and only pass bills for their intended purpose instead of cramming things in at the last moment? At the same time, only passing bills that members of congress and the president have a "reasonable" amount of time to read? Of course this means less things will get passed by both parties, but would it not force the government to prioritize things to pass if they can't Trojan horse what they want in the first place? Am I stupid for thinking that might be a good idea?
