I'm looking for some of CR's honest opinion of gun control. Personally I don't care ether way but I do have a paper to write and I have to be "for gun control" when I write about it. So I'm stuck and looking for some ideas. I live right near downtown right on e. 7th, I hear gun shots every night (lately more frequently), drive bys going on all the time up on Cleveland ave, just some dumb shit. Twice people have tried to break into my house. It makes me against it but when I think about it most of the guns are acquired illegally so there isn't really a system for stopping them. But then again I'm for owning a gun and having the right to defend myself in a "bad" situation.

I have a Compaq Presario V2000 laptop with a 1.60ghz AMD64bit cpu, 1gb pc5300 dual channel ram, a 120gb HD and a DVD/CDRW burner. It have windows xp on it and holds about a 2 and a half hour charge. No marks or dead pixels on the screen. no missing keys. I am looking for a trade on 1996-1998 civic coupe body parts such as hood, fenders, bumpers, trunk lid etc. and/or body work (pulling out small dents etc..) or 400firm

i'm looking for a full y8 intake manifold with sensors and all, specifically the IACV and the TPS sensor. Also need a catilitic converter and a pair of rear struts. for my 1998 civic

They have them from $50-140 dollars an rock auto.

 

A MAP sensor from rock auto is roughly $250 also.

 

same with autozone, but im not looking for new im looking for cheap and used

I went to 3-sg auto body on cleveland ave today and they quoted me 2 and 1/2 hours labor to install a fender on my civic. thats ridiculous. If i had the tools and space i would do it myself and prob. get it done in about 15min or so. anyone know any reasonably priced body shops or does anyone on here do body work? I just need a few things fixed like my fender and my bumper aligned properly.

i got the same on when my plate was in my dash because the night before i wrecked my car and i ran out as she was ticketing me and she said "its not my problem" and then handed it to me.

nothing mechanical, easily and cheaply fixed. rear bumper from craigslist 20bucks, get a new or used cat. if you do your own body work then its no issue or have a connection which i'm sure most of you do then again no problem.

I have a 1998 civic coupe ex, silver with a black hood, red front bumper, red passenger fender. Small fender bender. body has 209,xxx on it motor and tranny have 80k documented miles on it. y7 block with y8 head. New driver axle, engine mounts, rear knock sensor, timing belt, all gaskets, and head bolts. 1,800 worth of work. 5sp. Interior could use a good cleaning. cigarette burns in headliner. Sony mp3/cd player. Apexi N1 exhaust, cat is bad. 94+ integra rear disc swap. back rear bumper is cracked. trunk has small dent on corner. few tiny dings here and there. steelies with decent tires on them. just had a tune up and oil change. Car runs great, I would take it anywhere so hessitation.
