I am looking to sell my 89 Larson. It ha a mercruiser 4cyl. 130 hp with an alpha one out drive. The boat is in good condition for its age. The engine has a fresh oil change and tune-up. Each year it is winterized by one of the marinas in Apple Valley. I have all safety equipment (many adult/child life jackets), two tubes and a brand new fish finder is included. New: bellows shift cable out drive position sensors new battery points, condenser, cap, rotor The boat runs fine... Please tell me you are not serious The constitution is over 200 years but it is not irrelevant. You cannot own a gun unless you are 18 for a long gun, 21 for a hand gun.You may be able to use under 18, but you cant own them. No guns for you

I disagree.... The need to bear arms is to prevent tyranny. I would assume most governments start out with good intentions, but they can evolve into tyrannical governments if left unchecked. The framers of the constitution knew this. The true meaning of the constitution can only be understood in the context of when it was written. The idea of the national guard taking the place of the peoples right to bear arms is not good. The national guard, even though a state system, is partially controlled by the federal government. I think this guy got what he deserves. I have seen a couple of instances( I cant think of the exact details right now) were people have received extremely long jail terms for "beating up" another person. I still believe it does not matter the motivation of the crime, the sentence should remain the same. I do see the view points of those for the stiffer sentences, but I don't think we can legislate morality. These stiffer sentences may lead to more dislike between races. my.02

Johnson, 39, was convicted March 1 of attempted murder, assault and other charges, including some designated as hate crimes. BTW take oil away form Venezuela and see how socialist they are.That is most likely the largest source of income to fund the government and its programs Welfare is only needed for those who are mentally incapable of working. Sometimes that is a stretch too. Being in a wheelchair, on crutches or what ever contraption you devise does not alleviate you of your personal responsibility to provide for yourself. The only reason ours is inadequate, it does not kick enough people off the rolls. Before you say it, I am in favor of old people and children starving.

Can you think of a successful socialist or communist state? A purely capitalist state is as unreasonable as a pure socialistic/communistic state. We need to be more capitalistic for economic and scientific growth. The reality is people will chase a dollar. If money is to made by developing a product, it will come about. No financial incentive will foster complacency.

easy.... both of those types always lead to human suffering. They will always fail, due to taking away natural human desire to improve ones self. Taking from one person to give to another is not an idea that I like. On top of that both of those systems tend to develop a small group of individuals that retain control through intimidation and/or outright killing. To understand the writings of the authors, you have to think about the time period when it was written. Nicely said I will disagree with you about changing the wording of the second amendment. I think it is fine the way it is. The danger in changing it is the heavy political influence of the anti gun lobbies will step in.
