    IT recommendation

I could see that, we are a little hike from Circleville. I don't feel like the 30-45 minute drive from Columbus would be that bad but most others seem to disagree. If you possibly change your mind and might want to consider it or chat a little further about what we are looking for let me know. I have a couple other feelers out but nothing has come through yet.

PM sent. Noone does this on the side and wants to make some extra money?
  3. We are in need of some IT help here at work. Is there anyone here who does this or might recommend someone? Quick overview of what we are looking for. We are a small business, 3 computer in one office. We use one as a shared drive. Just replaced one computer that we will need all files transferred over and remapped to the shared computer. Also looking for recommendation for syncing emails among computers and devices given our limited internet speeds here at the office. The office is in Centerburg.
  4. http://www.adoptapet.com You can adjust your search by breed, size, age, ect and it pulls from various shelters and rescues within the desired range. Kind of like the autotrader for pet adoption. This is where we found our dog. He was being fostered by the New Albany pet rescue. We have no complaints and are very happy with our dog.
  5. Anyone have one they would like to part with?
  6. Depending what kind you have, I use Spartan tools on alum creek drive. http://www.spartantoolco.com
  7. The wife and I did one 2 years ago to Punta Cana. It was 7 days with direct flight from Cinci for around $700 a person. The deal was on groupon from Vacation Express. I believe we stayed at the Be Live Grand resort. I always say we got what we paid for and really had no complaints. We looked on tripadviser at the hundreds of reviews so we had an idea what we were getting into. They provided bus shuttle from the airport to the resort. Our flight was delayed and Vacation Express put us up in a hotel at the airport. We left the following morning and got there in the early morning. We filled out some paperwork on the plane and they reimbursed us for the night we missed. We went to a time share pitch for a free gift. Looking back i would not do that again as the salesmen were very rude. With our package we were limited to the house liquors. After we gave the bar tender a nice little tip he would deliver the drinks to us in the pool. The resort was slightly smaller and had "8 different restaurants." Only 4 of them were open each day and you had to make reservations. The food was just alright but i wasn't expecting anything special given what we paid. The beach was nice and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas at our resort for when we were there. There were people walking up and down trying to sell you anything they had. The resort did a good job of keeping them closer to the water so they would not bother you too much if you were in the chair area. The resort would also have a vendor night where they would set up tables throughout the resort with all kinds of souvenirs for sale. Don't pay anything close to their asking price and don't fall for any of their tricks. We had one guy start to fake cry talking to my wife, he quickly stopped and got shitty when i came over and told him we were not interested. When we first got there we had a meeting with a vacation express representative where he pitched us all the different activities we could do. The only thing we opted to do was some snorkeling, which we had a blast doing. We made friends with 4 other couples that all purchased the same groupon deal as we did. Between the 10 of us i think we covered every activity and we all had positive experiences. Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to help with.
  8. At work we are looking to upgrade our office computers. There are two of us and we currently have PCs with outlook. Our email is set up through godaddy on a pop server. At the office we have shitty internet and our DL speed is around 1.5 and upload is around .5. 95% of what the computers will be used for include word, excel and emails. Below is what we are looking for. -1 desk top and 1 laptop -ability for emails to sync between computer, iphone, and ipad -budget up to $1250 -$1500 each We have been looking at apples and office 365. Any better options out there? What would be a good PC option? Set up our own email server?
  9. This is my toss up. If i was keeping, i would go with tile. However i can't decide if the avg home buyer would rather have the worm feeling of carpet. I would be a little more worried about the moisture if i had not replaced all the drain tile myself last year.
  10. Glad i found this, has been very informative. However it is also making me nervous to try and sell our house now in fear of not finding what we want. And i still have about 2 months of work left before our will be ready to list. What is best for resale- Tile or carpet in the finish part of the basement? And does anyone have any advise in searching for land? How far NE are you? We are looking to go further NE of where we are in Westerville now.
  11. I also have state farm for everything (life, auto, home, ect). I had Allstate growing up and when i got married my wife had State Farm. Priced them both and ended up going with SF. We made a claim on the house about two years ago for some storm damage and had no complaints with claims process.
  12. I am a member at Bullet Ranch in Pataskala. Not the biggest but i have not had any issues getting a lane. It is only 1.5 years old too. http://www.thebulletranch.com/
  13. Thanks for the advise everyone, that confirms our thoughts as well. She has been applying for jobs at the major hospitals and i believe she has an interview or two lined up already. The plan is to use the LPN as a stepping stone toward an RN/ BSN. The nice thing with the LPN program is it allows her to keep her full time job for now. That is why she is going that route for now. Thanks again.
  14. My wife has been back in school working toward an LPN than possibly go on to RN. She currently has an associates from CSCC in business. She has taken several classes that are in the program and is getting ready to apply for the the LPN program. She is looking for something entry level to get into the medical field. She has been in an office job the past 4+ years and is looking for a change. If anyone has any advice or leads that would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Got a new TV and now I am checking to see if anyone has an extra fire stick or something similar. Please let me know.
  16. So, other than walmart and Americas best, did anyone else recommend where to go? My wife needs to go and she is currently looking at Costco. Should she not go there? Feel free to pm me if that is easier or don't want to post it.

    Tattoo Artist.

I know it was said in the other threads posted, but Mike at Sweet Baby Octane did a couple of my black and grey tattoos and I am very happy with them.
  18. I have shaved with a razor 3 times in my life. Senior pictures, another random time, than right before chemo. I have had a longer beard for the last couple years now after it grew back. Just use a stand shampoo/ conditioner every day. I have not tried any of the oils or anything specific for beards. Maybe i should. Now I trim it a couple times a year for various reason. I went to Roosters at Polaris one time before a wedding. Service was good, but holy shit was that expensive and will not return for that reason. As others said I seem to get the most comments from other guys. It gets pretty annoying. Most people ask how long it took to grow or if i have ever seen Duck Dynasty. Every so often girls at the bar will ask to touch it or what my wife thinks of it. I have even had a couple weirdos buy me a drink.
  19. Hey guys, I have a friend that has a 2004 Chevy 2500 HD Diesel. He is looking to get some quotes to have all the injectors replaced/ rebuilt. Where should I send him?
  20. You need to address the water coming in and come up with a solution to remove it. Sealing the inside walls might "fix" it short term but I assure it will happen happen again as your not removing the water and it is still sitting against/ in your foundation walls. I am redoing the perimeter drains on the inside of my basement now and I'm dry. Bust the floor out, dig to the footer, drill new weep holes, replace clay drain tile with new PVC perforated pipe and sleeve, fill with gravel, replace concrete. Cheap materials just very labor intensive. After this i plan on digging up the outside, purge the walls, seal, replace drain tile, than backfill like Sully suggested.
  21. I'm looking for logs, around fist size by 10-16" long or bigger.
  22. I am looking for a local source of some different woods (apple, pecan, peach, ect) to try in the smoker. I am looking for pieces with some size, not the shit you can buy at the store. Let me know if you have some or know a good place around town to get some.
  23. thanks for offer but will have to pass.

  25. I am unsure as I got it used in 2012. I used it 1 time then put away for winter and didn't get it back out as I prefer the hand held style. I did start and run it this past week with no issues.
