  1. Never bitched out as I never said a race wouldn't happen; simply said going side by side at 225 isn't necessary, especially since I have no reason to trust the integrity of the car being raced next to me at that speed. There are plenty of smarter ways to 'race' when dealing with those speeds. Using time over a given distance or even trap speed would be two very simple examples.
  2. CR never lets you down when it comes to giving you plenty to laugh at. I truly thank you guys for this thread; it's been more amusing than you could ever imagine! I doubt there has ever been a bigger collection of people with less importance spewing more ignorance and idiocy than in this very thread. Again, thank you. The laughter you have generated (granted much at your own expense) has been worth the time reading the thread.
  3. What car is faster = which reaches higher top speed. Racing would be a timed mile etc or a competition where there is a 'first' and 'last' etc... How do you people know how to turn on a computer? UGR uses a lot of thin shims instead of fewer thicker ones; thinner ones compress more even at the same overall thickness. I've gone 208mph. I've driven a Stage 3 UGR car; in fact, I drove the one that's grenaded nearly two years ago. It also was no where near 1500whp. 1250 on race, 1000 on pump and that's a glory dyno number with front driveshafts unbolted so as not to snap them. Lucky if it was putting down 850; but, again, that's why we're improving upon customers' cars who have UGR setups.
  4. Running side by side isn't necessary; all you need is a VBOX to see which car goes faster. I never said they used the wrong company or materials per se; what I am saying is that the WAY that they put the tranny together is what all but guaranteed it's 'blowing up'. Too many thin shims!
  5. Yes, threatened by a guy who has a car gear limited to 225. And, the best part, you had the same company build your tranny in the same 'spectacular' way the grenaded one sitting at S47 did very quietly having its tranny replaced! Lol
  6. I had to laugh at the Jamie part; out of the two most 'relevant' exotic forums on the interwebs, he's banned from one and a joke on the other.
  7. Swing and a miss! Lol Just a few facts to help cure your ignorance: A deal, of any sort, can only be completed once BOTH parties have done all that they have agreed to do when they have agreed to do it. Nate never owned any part of IPS; so I will aid you even further by stating, one of the ORIGINAL owners of IPS. And lastly, only two of the employees who left IPS for CTD were at PTM. This is a good thing for Columbus as it helps to establish itself as a legitimate exotic car town and not just an overgrown farm town as it has always been viewed. We will have many exciting partnerships both locally and nationally to announce in the coming week or two. To everyone who wished us/me well, I say thank you. And to everyone routing for it to fail, I/we also say thank you as its hard to beat the amusement one gains from knowing that his/her success actually bothers another person (even so much so that they feel the need to take to a local Internet message board and type pseudo-clever insults about things they are unable to comprehend).
  8. According to an owner of IPS, IPS never did any work to the car. Woops...:lolguy:
  9. You have no idea how poignant number (1) is! And you are exactly correct.
  10. Those are are some very serious accusations there; accusations that are way above your pay grade. A little lesson in law for you free of charge: you can't steal something you own. And you especially can't steal something when you are in another state. But please, continue digging yourself a bigger hole...LOL!
  11. They still have people working there? :lolguy: Too soon?
  12. If your position is that there is something resembling a bill with my name on it, then no, I would not bet you. If your position is that I owe IPS ANY money, then I will bet you every last cent you can possibly scrounge up. LOL
  13. You just keep looking. I'll sleep better at night knowing you are.
  14. Don't believe me; believe the owner of PTM. Or about any of IPS' 7-10 former employees. People left there so fast I think it created a vacuum! Lol
  15. There was consideration about allowing IPS to have the opportunity to be affiliated with the build; that consideration was dropped. Also, IPS never purchased PTM in any way shape or form. Again, no jabs, just facts. I realize that it's somewhat confusing for those ignorant to the actual situation as too often rumor supplants actuality.
  16. Let's just say that there is a big difference between a vehicle being built BY a shop and one being built AT a shop. And no jabs, just stated facts.
  17. I didn't take it there and IPS never did any work of any kind whatsoever.
