Depending on what the reason is I agree with joe I can't see any state where you disassemble the firearm and also would have it stored in multiple places throught the vehicle where you can not access at the same time that for whatever reason that state give you any sort of issue

I think what Scott was trying to say is If the battery is low charge from sitting with the accesories as well your alt would be working much harder trying to recharge the battery
