does anyone know of a company that makes filler pannels for the rear bumper on those older vettes for the exhaust area for cars that have been converted to side pipes?

eric no brakes i checked the balancer and the driveshaft everyhting is good except for the knocking and clanking noise comming from the passanger side valve cover time for a new motor i think

I have an 87 tbird with a 3.8 and an auto tranny 37k original miles on it was driving it yesterday and noticed it didnt want to shift checked the fluid its clean and at a perfect level but the car wont shift out of first until 35mph and second until like 58 any ideas? thanks

balancer looks like every other 5.0 balancer nothing out of the ordinary

motor has been the same motor in since 1987 when it was made and i guess it does have a sucky stock balancer on it guess ill look at it will i know its bad just by looking at it?

harmonic balance

shakes the whole dash and tranny and clutch pedal real well on decelration and when clutch is engaged car has newer motor and tranny mounts as well as u joints nothing has been changed on the car it has basically been sitting any ideas?

i ordered the adaptive performance one should be here soon luckily my wheel isnt locked so hopefully i have it done a few minutes after the mail comming

ordered the bypass module for it after going through some things with the guys at ips also ordered the skip shift for it i have tursday and friday off so the car should be running by thursday im gonna plan on taking it to ips next week and going through everyhting hopefully reseting the fuel shut off at 200 or somehting incase the colum lock problem comes back as it seems like it does on these cars

jeff i might stop by when im on lunch and talk about this, im sure you know more than i do i have gm part number 88965331 and i think this is the problem but please correct me if i am wrong

I called quite a few dealers in town i called IPS I called a couple corvette places dealers believe it or not harldy know what im talking about and everyone else has to order it or i have to order it online jack maxton says they have the part but want to do it for me and wont sell it to me? so that being said does anyone know LOCAL where i can get the colum lock bypass module for a c5 corvete 6 speed? its a 99 fyi thanks

called jack maxton they said they wouldnt sell me the part but they would install it? wtf?

messed with the car a bit today i notied at idle the oil psi guage is pegged at 80 which obviously inst right im gonna throw a new sender in it anyone tell me where its located and if that can casue a problem?

cool ill go to jack maxton monday and get the module just go in there with the vin and they should have it?

the colum isnt locked it moves freely
